We were warmly welcomed by the owner Kosmas (great guy) after a long ride from Athens and got a lot of first hand information about the must sees at Pilion. We were led to our room with terrace and a stunning view on the Aegian Sea. Muses is a bit castle like with a lot of wood and authentic details and when you enter the building you feel immediately at home. Zagora is located at the slopes of Mount Pilion. It is a surprisingly lively village with quite some tavernas and kafeions. Muses is located at the end of the village on a quiet spot with a great taverna (Niki's) and a mini market at 100m and the center of the village within walking distance. Nice beaches with good tavernas within 6 km. We will definitely come back to Pilion and when we do it will be at Muses Country House !!

Feeling home on Pilion

The Country House is a family-run business and what a delightful family they are. A very warm welcome, a personal touch and a good location. The house is castle-like and the old wooden rustic furniture is a nice touch. Outside there is a beautiful courtyard to sit and enjoy the evening. There is ample parking and the morning sunrise view is absolutely fantastic...

The only things I would suggest to make it better would be shower gel / shampoo in the bathroom and also a breakfast. This was stated as available on the website but it turns out it was not.

Brilliant experience

This guest house is super decorated with old rustic style furniture and romantic details.
It is placed in a very quiet location of Zagora village which is close to all the beaches and the sights of Pilion mountain. There is a big parking place for the guests and all the rooms view the Aigaian sea. Furthermore the rooms are clean and equiped with a fully functional fire place.
The hospitality is very professional and discreet.

Decoration-Hospitality-Location-Value for money

We really liked the place!! warm staff , nice room with a fireplace and breathtaking view!! staff was happy to help every time we needed them! The only disadvantage is the bath.. it is a bit old coparing with the rest of the room! we are looking forward to visit it again!
