Quite a dirty, run down place. Hotel was ok, entertainment (3 nights a week) average. Food was shocking. The snack bar only serves tuna or greek salad, basic burger or ham and cheese toastie. Every day. Found a lovely bar on the beach which was only a 5 min walk away and spent days eating and relaxing there.  The weather was out of this world.

My daughter and I just got back from Greece.  Absolutely gorgeous weather, 5 minute walk to the beach.  Pools x 3 but they were freezing!! No one went in them only a couple of kids so that kind of ruined the holiday really. Nothing to do. 

Food was repetitive each evening, breakfast was nice, snacks were just chips, salad, burgers, staff really nice, our room was very clean, towels each day, meant to have been twin but ended up as a double In the Annexe.  

They were very relaxed in taking food, drinks to the room, so I took a cup of milk, teabags and sugar to ours. Gorgeous pool with waterfall but again this was cold and dirty.  

This place is geared more for girls and lads night out type of place and probably very busy and loud in the height of season.  I wouldn't go back unfortunately, not for me.

Quick Holiday Break

I've visited Zante a few times over the years and this hotel is decent, the food was ok but basic, snack bar was good. Pools was good and room we stopped in was good. Your a few minutes to strip so good location and 5 minutes to beach. Overall I would go again.

Family holiday 

Had an amazing stay here in late August, loved the location. Our room was spotless. The drinks where amazing (lola the bartender was honestly the nicest and most down to earth bartender I’ve ever met who had great banter. Food is good. Pool was great. Everything was great 

If I’m ever in laganas again I work definitely go back to this hotel.

Perfect place for a Lads holiday.

Room very basic, bedding not the best. Didn't change bedding all week.
Towels changed 3 times in a week.
Staff friendly and polite, food was nice and well presented.
Hotel amenities was dated, pool area needs some maintenance and care.
No other amenities offered other than a pool.
Snack bar is more like a tent / shelter with tarpaulin. However garlic chips are v tastey!
The second pool (next to snack hut) is very dated and not maintained well at all.
Surrounding area had boarded up hotels, overgrown bushes, grass.
Zante ( Laganas) is possibly the worst place I have been.
Dirty, scruffy area that isn't looked after at all.
Pavements are littered with dog fecal matter, bottles, food and rubbish.
We travelled to Zante Town which is quite nice, well kept area.
Kalamaki wasn't any better than Laganas apart from less rubbish.
The water park looked a bit dodgy as one of the slides looked to be held up with scaffolding.
Will definitely not be returning.

Food was good but that was it. The rooms never got cleaned properly. All they did was change the bins. Clean towels was hard to get hold of. One day we had to wait until gone 6pm to get towels when all I wanted was to have a shower after being on the beach all day. Room was rundown and bedding and towels were stained, considering we had upgraded our room so god knows what the other rooms were like. We ended up spending money everyday on food and drink in the evenings aswell as the day time because the pools were rubbish and no entertainment in the evening like advertised so we had to go off site everyday. That to me is not all inclusive. Not family friendly. The air con also wasn't included in the room and was very expensive. The area was very expensive. Will not be staying here again.

Very disappointed

2/5. The hotel is not worth the money, but the activities in the area can be a lot of fun.

Positives:
- Only a 5 minute walk to the beach, which has lots of beach bars.
- The activities in the area can be a lot of fun.
- The nightlife is great, and only minutes away.

Negatives: 
- The showers don’t work half the time, presumably when others are using them at the same time.
- The beds are quite hard.
- The pool closes earlier than indicated everywhere. The sign next to the pool says 19:00, but you will be kicked out at 18:00.
- We got towels with stains in them, but that might obviously be different for you.
- The staff is unwelcoming.
- There is no way to indicate whether the cleaning staff should clean your room. As a result they will barge in when you do not want to be disturbed.
- If you go all-inclusive, the snacks menu will be pretty limited. 3 burgers, a hotdog, 5 rolls, 2 types of toast, fries, and 2 salads. 
- The wifi (€1 per person per day as of August 2022) is very slow. In most places, including your room, you likely won’t have any signal at all.
- When you purchase airconditioning (€7 per day as of August 2022) you can’t cool the room while you’re not inside of it. As a result you will always enter a hot room, which gradually decreases temperature as you stay inside of it.

Tips:
- There seem to be 3 different pools. Try all of them and see which one you enjoy most.
- Go on a sea safari and spot some turtles.
- Enjoy the nightlife.

After reading the reviews, I was a little apprehensive about staying here ! 

Room - we had a family room, clean basic, comfortable. The room was on the ground floor, next to the pool. Perfect for us!

Food - great choice of food, plenty of variety, and something for the fussier eaters 

Location - very close to the strip, mini market on site with all the essentials. 5 minute walk to the beach, ideal !!!

Staff - all lovely and really helpful !! 

The only downside is there was a number of young  groups coming in drunk and loud - that's beyond the hotel's control... It did not spoil the holiday one iota !

Thoroughly Enjoyed !!

Just returned home from Zante Plaza and this is defo the best 3 star hotel i have ever stayed. Even though our room was not ready as we arrived in the morning, we used the all inclusive package before the check in.

Maids were coming every day to clean our room and change sheets and towels. The staff is out of this world and the food at the 2 restaurants is amazing.

Travelled as family at Laganas was a bit worrying for us but finally we didn't regret it. 
The staff is the best part of the hotel especialy Giota the manager / owner of the property.

Best 3 star hotel ever stayed

Overall was a good stay and in a great location. Perfect for girls / lads holiday as it’s not even a 1 min walk from the strip through a small cut through. It did the job for us. 

Food was okay with many options to choose from, as there is a main buffet and a restaurant that you had to ‘book’ every night (which wouldn’t be checked). Drinks are good and there is a cocktail list to choose from. 

Only few downsides was that the room was cleaned once out of the 7 days and towels were never replaced, and toilet roll running out quickly. Also, it is extremely noisy at night (from 3-5am) people banging on our doors and screaming/crying/shouting/singing. 

The pools are nice, the biggest one is not in the main reception building but in the building across the road, which does get busy with lots of teenagers/young adults with lots of music so would avoid if u want relaxation. I would recommend the pool in the main building. 

We felt we didn’t even need air con as the room was fairly cool the first few nights, also the wifi/service is basically non existent in the buildings and rooms only working outside which is annoying.
