I'm really torn with this place. The pool is, hands-down, very nice. As is the view from the balcony. The location may be a mixed bag depending on your preference. It's at the edge of Tsilivi rendering it a bit quieter while being up a steep hill. If that is no issue for you the location is basically perfect. 
There are a billion tavernas of different kinds within walking distance, as well as, slightly further away 2 supermarkets. The, also pretty nice, Tsilivi beach is around 10-15 mins away... now for the but though: I honestly don't understand all the overwhelmingly positive reviews. Maybe the people who wrote these are only used to cheap hostels. The rooms are not just very spartan and very basic (which is generally fine and almost expected) but really run-down. The beds are pretty worn. The kitchen equipment does basically not exist. Basic kitchenette stuff like a sponge or some liquid soap are AWOL. The few glasses, plates, and cutlery are of poor quality and somewhat dirty.
Sheets and towels are all clean, the rest, however, not so much. The entire interior is in serious need of a makeover.

I'm explicitely NOT saying that you should not book this place. But you should be aware of its limitations. Book it if you want a nice view and private pool, and don't plan on staying in the rooms or cook anything yourself. Despite the rating (which is probably upgraded by the pool) this is more like a 2-star place.

Pros:
- very nice and private pool
- view from the room/balcony
- location, edge of Tsilivi, more quiet

Cons:
- the rooms and almost everything about them

Another wonderful stay at yanna studios,  the hosts yanna and giannas are two of the most friendly and beautiful  people you will meet and always go out of their way to make you welcome , best wishes for the future and look forward to returning again,  many thanks once again

A beautiful holiday  once again 

Fantastic place to stay in Tsilivi just past the church up the hill quietly tucked away Yanna and Yannis are so welcoming and it’s so quiet here the pool area is a delight and all the rooms have fantastic sea views very comfortable rooms will definitely stay here again

Such a nice hospitality from Yanna and her son Yannis. We had such a great time in Zakyntos and it is also thanks to their friendliness and care. Very nice view from the balcony and good area to stay, quiet but close to everything needed. Thank you and hope to come back.

Great Hospitality

Beautiful place, nice family atmosphere, helpful owners. Clean, tidy, swimming pool, sun loungers available. Very close to shops, tavernas, only 7 minutes to the beach, 2 minutes to the taxi rank. The nearest market is about 5 minutes away. Beautiful view from the balcony and most importantly: working air conditioning! Wifi is also available. I recommend

Great place

I recently spent two weeks here, and loved every minute of it.

Yanna, Yannis and George are lovely people, and made me feel very welcome. 

Met some lovely people whilst I was there, and the sunbed/pool area is very relaxing and clean. I felt I could ask the owners anything, nothing was too much trouble.

Nice apartments with lovely views, up a slight slope, but nothing to worry a moderately fit person. 

Fabulous location, lot's of Tavernas and Bars nearby, and the beach just 5-10 mins walk away.

Loved it there. If anyone is thinking of going to Greece, stop thinking and do it!

Lovely place, lovely people

Studios located on the uphill with awesome views on Tsilivi, sea and Kefalonia. Rooms equipped with all you need and cleaned every second day with towel changes. Perfect pool to chill down during the day with sunbeds and umbrellas. 10 minutes walking distance to the sea and close to the main street with bars, restaurants, shops and markets etc.
We were there 2nd time and for sure we will come back. Owners Yanna, Giannis and George are our best Zante friends. This place has a full protection against any viruses thanks to Giannis "extra power" :D

Perfect location with great owners!!!

We had warm welcome from lovely family made us feel at home , rooms spacious lovely and clean , pool very good , good location near center, our first time at yanna studios but lot of guests return year after year sure we will return , thank you yanna yannis , great holiday 

Paradise loved it 

2nd year now at Yanna.  Nothing more to add from last year.  Giannis and his mother where great hosts again.  Pleasure to meet them both again, and as per the previous year, they where more than helpful on all aspects.  
We will likely be back next year in Tsilivi, and I'd be back booked at Yanna studios again.  Great locations, right in town, rooms satisfactory, nice pool area, good car parking facilities should you need them.

Another good stay

After reading great reviews, we decided to give zante a try. Yanna studios is a brilliant location, within 5 minute walk of the town. Yanna and her son yannis, absolutely fabulous hosts. We were there for 10 days  and the apartment was cleaned every other day. Fantastic pool ,exceptionally clean.We could not have been made more welcome. Thankyou so much yanna and tennis, top class people with hearts of gold. Can't wait until I go again with my sister in June and husband again in September.
