I spent 2 days with my friend in Balatonföldvár and I must say that I got a good grip on the summer pension. Very friendly staff, everything clean and well maintained (including the garden and the pool). The food is typically Hungarian. No big card but 3-5 main dishes can be picked every day. Everything is very delicious and the quiet location makes this pension an ideal destination for rest-seeking holidaymakers.

Maintenance pension with high entitlement

Located in a quiet area, less than 10 minutes' walk from the water club, the guesthouse offers quality service. The rooms are spacious and clean. They have heated towel doors and small dryer. Breakfast is pleasant. The owner is particularly helpful. Excellent price ratio.

Quality service close to the water club

As a large family we spent a two-week vacation at the Balaton in the summer of 2017 with a total of 12 people, of whom 5 were children between 2 and 12. Booking on the Internet was easy, thanks to the very good German skills of the owner, it was easy to understand. The family rooms were large enough, with a spacious bathroom, a small balcony and comfortable beds. They were cleaned and cleaned often enough. TVs, refrigerators and water cookers were already available in the room, on request you get a microwave to warm up your milk. Every morning there was a very rich family breakfast with a wide variety of dishes, cheeses, candies and comfortable beds.

Absolutely family-friendly pension with excellent service

My husband and 2 children stayed at this hotel in August for 8 days, whilst looking around Balaton to purchase a property. 

It is truly a lovely hotel. Christina owns and runs this hotel with a small cohort of staff and it runs like clockwork. They are all helpful and very friendly. The room we had was clean, cozy and met our needs. There are lots of fun amenities i.e. pool, table tennis, climbing frame and sandy areas to entertain younger guests. 

The pool area is shared with a neighboring hotel and is clean and adequately sized to refresh you. Christina was kind enough to always bring drinks to the pool side, despite me waiting to take my own drink! Very friendly and hospitable. 

We really liked the security aspect of the hotel, that the main gate would stay locked and all residents had a key. I felt safe for my youngest child to be left alone without my constant supervision.  On occasion we had left valuables in the room on display and again the safety and security element of this hotel was brilliant. 

The continental breakfast was simple, tasty, fresh and plentiful. The evening meal we had was delicious. 

It really was a sad day when we had to leave; we arrived as strangers and left as friends.

We will certainly be visiting again - Easter 2018.

Home from Home

The staff was friendly and professional and went out of her way to make sure we were satisfied with everything. The room was freshly renovated, clean and comfortable. There is a big swimming pool and a huge rustique wooden playground, so it's even more perfect for families with kids.

Clean and cozy room (maybe expected a little bit bigger room), friendly staff (helpful with suggestions and in general just being nice and smily people), good food (huge portions) and great location (not too close for the main chaos but with nice 10 min walk to the lake).

Very cozy place

It started with Kryztina calling us back at 4:00 p.m. The guest house consists of 2 houses, we were all in the back of the house (because it was cooler, said Kryztina) and on our right was a spongy indication: we're coming when the baby sleeps she just answered, call me just before, then I'll be there within 3 minutes. Yes, even though we were there 2 hours before check-in time at 4:00 p.m. The guest house consists of 2 houses, we were all back in the EG (because it was cooler, said Kryztina).

Child-friendly pension with incredibly helpful owner

Every morning we had a lovingly decorated breakfast. Our room was very clean and spacious. The guesthouse has its own swimming pool. However, it takes 10 minutes to walk directly to Balaton. From Balatonföldvar you can reach the surrounding areas quickly. There are specially marked bike paths around the lake. You can eat a very tasty dinner for a little money in the guesthouse. We enjoyed our stay there and can recommend the guesthouse.

Family-friendly pension in good condition

Nice and very clean B&B close to everything like city center, restaurants or beach. Staff is exceptionally friendly you can't have any weird wish which they wouldn't try to deliver on. There is a small playground for children and guests also can use the pool of the neighboring hotel. So you might not want to even go to the Lake. In case you make reservation you may check whether you can pay by credit card or not as we found this as the biggest gap they still have to overcome.
