We spent 1 night here with my friend during a bicycle tour. I really liked the retro feel of the hotel. :) The big, unused spaces, rooms. :) The room/bathroom was tidy, but oldish. The room had a balcony. The location is good, it has an own dock for sailing boats where from the view is spectacular.  
You can also swim there. In the park of the hotel there is a pleasant open air restaurant. The selection is acceptable. The place is ran by a very kind, helpful couple. I will surely return!

Bicycle trip stop

We arrived to a run down, poorly maintained hotel and thought we had to be in the wrong place. We walked in to see the front desk guy sitting in a bathing suit with his bare feet up on the table. It was odd. The water slide went to a brown water tank, the walls were paper thin, and everything felt outdated.  The room was 1970s basic but clean though the sheets not even large enough to cover the bed, which seemed to be cushions mounted on a platform. When we mentioned this, the front desk just told us to come down and get a new sheet and remake the bed ourselves. Wifi was pay for and the ac was broken. We canceled our reservation the next morning but front desk said they couldn't do refunds on credit cards so gave us cash minus a 90% penalty, even though booking.com said we could cancel without penalty. We are trying to get our money back now. The whole exchange led us to believe it was NOT an honest business. At best, it could be a student's hostel or something used for class trips but not self respecting adult should stay there for €50 a night. Not even worth half that!

Student pension at best!!

It was a big mistake to book a night at this hotel. We wanted to spend a night here while on a biking tour around the lake, thinking that anything will do for one night. We were wrong! The place is run by children who had trouble sorting out all the bookings. When we finally got a room we were really shocked, it was totally different from the pictures we have seen on their website. Just to sum it up: the furnitures are several decades old, overwashed towels, bathroom with only cold water. Please look at the pictures and laugh that they actually want 68 euro per night :)
We were lucky because we found another hotel nearby, so we didn`t need to spend a night there!

A big no!

Seriously, dirty, rude staff, mouldy showers, aircon didn't work, beds actually couches from the mid 70s. What a total hole of a place. I'd rather sleep in a park.

the location is OK, you can walk to the lake and swim there, but it's just not worth the exorbidant price. Find a camping cabin and you'll be alot happier.

What a dump

We stayed here for a single night whiole cycling around lake Balaton, from the moment we checked in we were worried, and with good reason, the hotel is just disgusting!!
The man standing behind reception with little to no english was the least of our problems, when we climbed the dirty stairs to our rooma nd unloocked the door we were greeted with a room with a filthy carpet, dirty, stained pilloows, and 4 mis-matched hand towels we were expected to use as bath towels, once again, these towels were dirty and really unusable. Throughout the night we were consistantly woken up by the constant buzzing of mosquitos which is not a pleasent experience. our "balcony" was nothing more than a spider breeding ground complete with sveral spider webs and nests. The curtains in our rooms were coming away from the rails and the bathroom was in a bad state of repair, with the shower taking a good 15 mins to heat up. a few randdom bars of soap were to be found in the shower which was just ridiculopus in this day and age!! and on top of that the owner still felt completely comfortable with cvharging us 14 000HUF for just the room.   at checkout, there wasnt even a point complaining ans the owner had clearly no real english and genuinely didnt seem completely lucid and with it.. in short JUST AVOID THIS  HOTEL..  DO NOT trrust the pictures you see, as they are clearly outdated photos. In short, AVOID! !!
