Very local to amenities, spacious, modern and clean apartments but most importantly excellent customer service from the Manager, Andrea! She arranged pickup from airport and Gave us information on things to do. She was always on hand via WhatsApp and even turned up at the apartment at 10 pm to sort out the Netflix. She made our stay a pleasurable; we will return again.

Great Service

We stayed at this apartment for 8 days in July 2019. We are a retired couple who travel every year with our daughter who is an Intensive English teacher in Canada.BUDAPEST, what a wonderful surprise...an amazing city!!! 
This lovely apartment, situated in a beautiful historic building is centrally located and at walking distance to all the major points of interest it made our stay even more pleasant. It is tastefully decorated with all the comforts of home and more.
Tom, the owner could not have been a better host. He was there to greet us at our arrival. He helped us with our luggage, sat with us and gave us many recommandations for restaurants and points of interest.
Tom, you are a real gentleman, thank you so much for your hospitality. Hopefully your beautiful daughter's dream to visit Canada will materialize and we would be honoured to return your kindness and hospitality.

Memorable stay in Budapest

The apartment is located very centrally, close to everything. The owner answered all our questions and even arranged an airport transfer for us for 3:3am! The apartment is clean and well equipped and very cute! We will definitely come back! Thanks Tomas!

Excellent location and owner

The apartment was impeccable in terms of cleanliness & facilities. Location was perfect. Decor was very charming and unique. We did not get to use the lovely balcony unfortunately as it rained most of the time. We were on the 4th floor but bear in mind it is over 90 steps to the 4th floor (my husband counted!) It was good exercise though! The host Tomas was very welcome and helpful giving us plenty of information on sightseeing, restaurant recommendations etc. He was also on-hand for any requests/questions. All in all, a Perfect base to explore Budapest.

Wonderful stay

What made our trip more enjoyable is this centric beautiful apartment. Everything was so close. reachable on foot only. The host, Tomas, was very friendly and very helpful with all the useful information he provided to us.
If we go back to Budapest, we will definitely stay at the Golden Stars Budapest Apartments. The best ever!

Perfect stay in a beautiful city!

我在中央市場附近的公寓住了四個晚上。公寓的設計很溫馨，比網站上的照片更有家的感覺。你可以走路到布達佩斯的各個景點，附近也有許多超市及餐廳。下樓就有Tram 或者是 Underground 車站。Tomas 是個很好的公寓主人，提供很多有用的旅遊資訊。我會願意再回來這裡。
I stayed in the apartment near central market for four days. The apartment looks even better than the pictures on the website. It is very spacial apartment and make you feel at home. There are lots of restaurants and supermarkets nearby the apartment. Sometimes, I prefer to stay at apartment due to the cold weather. the location is very good, and you can enjoy all day in Budapest by walk. I like to walk across the bridge in the Dona river or walk along the riverbank. No worries, there are trams and underground stops next to apartment, if you are tired of walking. Thomas is very good and helpful owner and provide very useful information of restaurants and tourist spots.

A good location and warm place in Budapest

We arrived literally, in the middle of the night and despite the hour, Tomas was there to meet us and show us around.
The apartment is beautifully furnished and equipped with the necessary things. It is centrally located on the Pest side of the river with many of the tourist attractions being only a few minutes walk.  
Despite the chilly winter weather, the apartment was lovely, warm and welcoming. 
Our family were in Budapest celebrating New Year together and whilst outside was very noisy, inside was peaceful - an oasis of calm and tranquillity.
I would definitely stay here again and would recommend both the apartment and Tomas as a host.

Beautiful apartment and perfect host

We spent 5 nights in Tom’s “Super Chic” apartment and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.  As other reviewers have said, I’d give it 6 stars if I could. The apartment itself is extremely clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated and perfectly located for exploring Budapest. It had all the amenities we needed, there’s a grocery store right across the street and great restaurants within walking distance. In fact, thanks to its  central location you can do most (if not all) of your sight seeing on foot (though I would recommend at the very least using the yellow metro line for the experience of seeing its beautiful stations and older, smaller trains). Tom is a remarkable host who obviously cares that his guests enjoy both their stay in his apartment and his wonderful city. The smaller apartment was great for us this trip, however having fallen in love with Budapest, we plan to come back with our three adult children and will, without question or hesitation, book one of Tom’s larger spots for our stay.  Just book it! - you won’t regret it :)

Perfect accommodation - we’ll be back!

We stayed at the Golden Stars in 2011, and when we started planning this trip I called Tomas immediately to reserve one of his apartments.  This time we stayed in the DREAM apartment on Vaci utca just across the square from the City Market.  The apartment was large, immaculate, and well equipped...up to Tomas' standards.  As usual he arranged a pick up at the airport and met us at the apartment.  He then gave us a good overview of what is going on locally and information on the Christmas Market that had just opened. He reminded us that he is just a phone call away if we needed advice or suggestions of things to do.  As the Realtors are fond of saying "location, location, location"!  We had it all; Trams, food store and market, and Restaurants all just steps away, yet an extremely quiet and relaxing apartment.  If you don't stay here you have missed a memorable experience!

Second Stay, If I could give it 6 stars I would!

Excellent stay at this beautiful apartment, it has a homely feel about it. Tomas the owner is very helpful and good at communicating with you prior to your stay. Great  Location with all the bars and restaurants near by. Would definitely recommend and will return.
