I wonder how it gets 5 stars..
The house was dirty, abandoned
The furniture is broken
The owner is missing, we sent him messages and he didn't answer.
The building is abandoned and scary
I don't recommend it at all..
He had 2 small towels for us, some used small shampoos..
The breakfast he mentions is in a nearby shop that is closed on Saturdays, no one informed us and we ran to find breakfast.

The worst…

Dirty room - full of dust; no heating - it was cold at night because of the leaky windows; dirty kitchen - everything was sticky; kitchen stove covered with grease and smelly; faucet in the bathroom torn off - the whole bathroom was in water; bedding thin and very worn out; TV remote controls broken and covered with grease and dust; dirt on the wardrobe and the tiled stove; mould or other fungus in the room (on the stove and the wall)

Warning

I am really not the kind of leaving bad reviews about an accommodation, but this time it wouldn't be fair to let other visitors of Budapest endure what I have been thru.  The first apartment was a disastrous, filthy one. The amenities and furniture were all either broken or dirty. So, after 1 hour or so, I found out that their reception desk was by the building entrance. Of course, they had me waiting for. At first, the manager pretended not to understand my request. Eventually, they offered me to go to another location of theirs. My, oh my... Same nightmare, was I going to wake up, dirty, unclean, and you could see that people haven't been cleaning the place since God knows when...
Kitchenware, filthy, no dish soap, no sponge, unflushed toilet bowl
I texted, wrote emailed, called... Speaking of, what would they give you a number and never answer the calls or texts.
3rd attempt, finally something more suitable... But... But I was only allowed for 2 nights out of 3, and they promised to clean another apartment for my last night.

Well I'm done comment but please, people: Historic Apartments, Oriental, Mia Casa, Diamond or whatever, do make the same mistake!

Don't even think about booking with them... EVER!

- building in ruins, work in progress just outside the main window - Smell of very pronounced moisture in the room - Dust all over the apartment with bottles and other waste under the beds - Presence of duties on the entire bedding + insects (like bed bugs) - Complementary cafeteria entartreated and uncleaned - Presence of spider, mold, water in the refrigerator - Microwave with a hole in the facade (ultra dangerous!!) - Various traces proving lack of maintenance - Shower apple completely leaked - Presence of garbage on all reception rooms - Evacuation of defective toilets (which have been unable to look at) The bathroom operator decided that we did not want to know these months.

The buiding were the appartments are is located in the city center.10 minutes to Basilica,Vaci Utca or Andrassy.The diamond appartment is very big and spacious.Te cleaness is the main issue.Breakfast was fair.Overall for a business trimp,just for sleaping is ok.

Diamond Appartment

During our stay as a couple, we encountered several problems: the window of the room facing the main floor, without any kind of privacy, with a very small curtain and not filtering the light. - dirty room, dirty sheet (we found hair on the newly arrived windows), dirty towels. - Terrible general conditions of the apartment, noisy bathroom doors and difficult to open/close, room door that certainly gave no idea of safety.

No, just not.

- there was little privacy, the window was on the main floor and there was only a thin tent that kept the light always on even at night - dirty! they didn't even provide the soap to clean the bathroom, dishes or the washing machine. - the other guests (not all) are quite noisy even at night, also the wifi router has the seizure in one of the rooms and sometimes it is disconnected - the door of the apartment is not always closed, sometimes we arrive that everything is open to everyone's mercé

I would give Mia Casa Rooms a zero score if I could. Worst accommodation I have ever booked. 

Reception for key collection is in a different location (very strange), however that was communicated before hand. 

We booked a two night stay here and upon arrival realised how bad it was and booked alternative accommodation elsewhere (it was evening when we arrived). Mia Casa Rooms refused to give us any sort of refund at all, despite the room not being fit for purpose. 

We had a SHARED bathroom, with not only NO LOCK on the door, but the door WOULDN’T EVEN CLOSE. Two females travelling - we needed a lockable bathroom! We communicated with the owners and asked them if they could fix the door. The only response we got from them was them confirming the bathroom was shared as the other apartment we shared with was occupied too. Otherwise they ignored us completely. 

The reception staff guessed instantly that we were checking out of Mia Casa Rooms when we went back to cancel our stay. He told us there was nothing he could do about the door. 

Dirty floors, dirty towels (only hand size towels provided), absolutely tiny rooms with hardly any natural light (their marketing photographer must be a genius the way he took their photos!). 

Booking.com have told us there is nothing they can do to refund any of our money (despite us not having a usable bathroom and having photographs of the state of the door and rooms) as we checked out of the accommodation before they had received and started to process our complaint. 

Mia Casa Rooms lied to Booking.com and insisted the doors all locked and my photos were not enough to prove the lie.

For future reference, find alternative accommodation and do not officially check out of horrendous accommodation if this happens to you, so that investigations can happen. 

Please do not consider booking Mia Casa Rooms or any rooms through Historic Apartment & Rooms as they are the worst “company” I have ever dealt with and the most disgraceful accommodation I have ever seen at this price.

Mia Casa Rooms - Disgusting! DO NOT BOOK!

I DECANCE! disgusting apartment that was certainly not cleaned before we arrived, while we were made to wait an hour before it was ready! Cleanliness clearly leaves to be desired, we find HAIRS and SLEEPS in our sheets. It seems like the sheets have not been changed because there are many tasks. Let's not talk about the air conditioning that doesn't work and that in the middle of summer, I imagine the heat! let even the simple electric sockets not all work! Finally, advice: find another place!

HORRIBLE - Disastrous

The Department is small, noisy and above all it is dirty. Just as one delivers the department, they deliver it to the next customer. Better look for another option if you come to Budapest. I have to go to other hotel
