Really disappointed with our stay at these apartments. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment and on arrival we noticed there was no shower head on the shower which we reported straight away. After 4 days it was still not replaced. It was basically a hose for four women to use. The fridge would also not close, we had to put something in front of it to keep it closed. A broken shelf at the front door was propped up with a chair and the pillows badly needed replaced.

On the good side the apartment was a great size and in a lovely location. We will definitely visit Budapest again but not at these apartments which was a real shame as the photos and review where all good.

Shower was a hose! Wouldn't recommend

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was absolutely amazing. The building is old but very elegant, with great views. It was an apartment with beautiful furniture. Everywhere is clean and comfortably. There are many good restaurants nearby. Thank you for the good service. I’ll be back

Amazing Place

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was absolutely amazing. The building is old but very elegant, with great views. It was an apartment with two rooms, two bathrooms and a kitchen. We enjoyed it very much and would go back anytime.

Amazing place

The apartments are really close to all amenities, supermarket, restaurants, pubs and also the underground, trams and buses.  It is situated in a quiet location and we had two balconies.  The furnishings are a little dated and strange but all in all it was very clean and tidy.  The bathroom was in need of a little tlc, the toilet seat was broken and there was no shower curtain around the bath, also although you should have been able to clip the shower head to the wall, the clip was about 2 inches higher that the shower head when extended - strange!!  I would stay here again but probably a different apartment.

Lovely stay

Booked a break for myself and daughter and thought this apartment looked amazing so chose it...what a mistake! 

When we arrived we had a text asking us for a minimum of 30 minutes notice so that someone could be there...so we have them 3.5 hours notice only to receive a message when we arrived at the property that they were going to be another 15-20 mins - they eventually arrived 30 minutes later! Luckily it wasn’t raining 

They do tell you about the stairs but they leave out the open air balcony you have to walk across to gain access to the apartment and unfortunately being terrified of open heights this was not good! 

The apartment stunk of general dirt, the bathroom clearly hadn’t been cleaned, they’d only made up one room in a 2 bed apartment. 

The apartment is in dire need of some cosmetic paint work and general maintenance. 

Lay on the bed after being awake since 4am and regretted it massively - itched for the next 4 hours! 

Messaged the owners at 8.08 that evening to express disgust and was completely ignored! 

We decided to leave the apartment it was that bad! 

Had to find the lights for the stairs that were in darkness...

Complained to booking agent (Expedia) who said that they’d been in touch but the owners of the apartment lied and said I hadn’t made them aware. Great things “read” messages 🤣 

So all in all stay well clear of these rip off merchants! 

They have accused me of lying and refuse to give me a refund! They ruined our holiday...

And they still haven’t had the decency to respond to ANY of the messages I have sent them but I know they’ve seen them 👍😏

Be Wary!!!

The staff were very helpful and went beyond all the usual requirements (for example, printing train tickets, storing your luggage in the office on a earlier arrival / later departure, etc.)Upon arrival, there was a small problem with the boiler, which was immediately solved by the staff.The kitchen was well equipped, with basic things like coffee, tea, salt and sugar.They did not disturbed our with unnecessary cleaning, on arrival we agreed that in 10 days of stay there was one cleaning with which we were satisfied. There were enough of towels (except for one for everyone, extra one more for hands and one in front of the bath) and also enough of dishtowels.The beds are very comfortable and clean, including also a sofa bed.The location is perfect, all major tourist destinations are within a 15-minute walk. Metro, bus stations, suburban train station and tram are within a 5-minute walk.Wonderful environment of a old town house with galleries. Although it is in the center, it is a very quiet living. The only "distraction" is the beautiful sound of bells from a nearby church.The only tiny bit of inconvenience is the speed of Internet connection. If more users are connected in the house, it is really extremely slow. I have solved Skype, which has sometimes connection failed. However, if you are on vacation and do not just want to sit on the Internet, it is no problem.

Best accomodation in centre of Budapest

Very nice apartment with all what you need for pleasant stay. Great view on Parliment building. A lot of things to see in walking distance. Great communication with host who were there for all neeeded information.

Very spacious apartment in a very cosy neighbourhood. The apartment could use a little touch up, it was a little bit worn down. It would also be nice if the were more english tv-channels. The staff was very friendly an helpful. We had a very pleasant stay in Budapest and within walking distance to many of the famous attractions.I warmly recommend a stay at Piano Castle Hill.

Excellent location, 5 mins to metro, trams, bus and ferry boat terminal- all included on the 24/36/72 hour travel card.After the bustle of the city, quite and relaxing apartment.We had 2 balconies, both with great views. Staff very pleasant and helpful. 3 great breakfast places just 3 mins away, if you don't want to cook your self. There is a bit of up and down, nothing to taxing and a lift up to the top floor. Kitchen is basic, but everything you need, including coffee percolator (coffee provided!).

Excellent location for the whole city

Our four days in the Piano Castle HIll two bedroom apartment was near perfect.  The apartment is well located within walking distance to public transport and the Danube.  The managers are very helpful and always willing to assist.  The apartment itself was located on the top floor with several balconies and great views of the city and Parliament and the Danube.  It was spacious and clean with all that could be required for a short or medium stay.  My only negative is that the beds are very hard but for our stay it was no problem.  I would recommend Piano Castle Hill for a stay within reach of most that is on offer in Budapest.
