The Groove

Hostel bunk beds always leave me with a sinking feeling, which is why I loved this place. Normal beds, arranged in a room large enough to dance in, with a great view. The staff are chilled out and the place has a nice atmosphere. Highly recommended.

The people at the groove were fantastic. We had a great time and the place was perfect for what I needed. The rooms were also really accommodating with privacy curtains. I learned to love this city in such a short time.

Very homely little hostel, and friendly staff who were able to give loads of reccomendations. Very close to the U4/U6 tram, which was helpful for getting around.

Would have loved a few more bathrooms/showers. But other than that it was brilliant value for money. Would reccomend for someone who needs a quiet and chilled out hostel.

It is not 5 but definitely highest than a 4. I was in this places for 3 days and honestly I feel like I manage to find the perfect combination of perfect destination with an awesome hostel. This was my very first experience as a solo traveller and I was kind of nervous being a young lady, but all that went away when I got to the hostal; the atmosphere, good vibes, great staff and everything else made this place just brilliant. If you're young and a solo traveller wanting to meet new people this is definitely the right places, it is a hostal not a 5 star hotel but for me it worked; The groove is well located, just a couple
Minutes from Buda side, the staff helps
You through all the doubts you have and just everything you need. The receptionist are young and cool, I found myself hanging out with them really often. Overall, I fell in love with this city and I am just looking forward to come back soon, and of course staying at The Groove again. 

Ps: the reason why it is not a 5, is because of the cleaning of the place...
It could be better, anything else it's just great.

Wonderful, spacious rooms.

Homely Hostel

It's like a 4,6.

We stayed just for one night in a shared room with a shared bathroom. 
The hostel is located in a old and beautiful building in a very nice location.
The staff was nice and helpful. But the mood of the other guests that were with us, was just strange, no smiles, no conversations, all the time looking to the computer.
The rooms have a high selling and the apartment itself is really beautiful. They also have a nice and funny decoration, but sometimes a little too messy.
But the thing that was not nice for me is that we stayed in the biggest room, which also gives access to a smaller room to the left. The rooms have no lock so everyone can come in, and the guys of the other room HAVE to come in to access their own rooms. Also someone of the guys of the staff entered in our room in the morning to show the room for a new guest, speaking loud while we were sleeping. I have never seem this before! So a lot noise, people passing, talking, leaving the door open. Really impolite!
And to finish it could be a little bit cleaner.
