This hostel is cute but very poorly cleaned. I slept in the room 2 in the lower bunk bed and woke up bitten by bedbugs more than 100 times all over my body. Since we spend only one night i notice the bites a few hours after we left. Although the stuff is kind and helpful I wouldn't recommend this hostel.

You get what you pay for basically. You're provided with a locker too which not all hostels provide.
The staff are really friendly, 24 hour reception which is so helpful too. The beds etc are fine, clean and fairly comfy is all you can ask for really in a budget place. The communal areas are good, and the fact there's a kitchen is great. There are also fridges dotted around which is great to have cold water/beer nearer your room.
Only downside was the showering facilities. I used two of the three bathrooms during my stay. One was broken off the wall completely, and fills up with water at the bottom. The other is coming off the wall, so neither were particularly comfortable experiences. However, like I say, it's a cheap youth hostel - you get what you pay for. And the facilities were clean regardless.

I did lose 200€ in this hostel, I had a small wallet that I never took out of the hostel with me so it was definitely lost inside. Although I think it's probably my fault for misplacing the wallet in my bedroom and another traveller perhaps picked it up. As well as this, the staff were wonderful trying to help me find it which I think should be noted.

Cheap and cheerful

You get exactly what they advertise here. Cheap beds, little kitchenette and several toiletries and showers. The beds are great soft mattresses and the people are nice. Not overly informative or friendly, but perfectly cordial. I recommend this place for the discount backpacker who knows how to travel. 

Cheap hostel

When I say cheap, I am not only talking about the price. 
Our beds had sheets that were too short. So my pillow directly on that lovely mattress with its stains -- they curious reader may find a picture attached. 
The wifi did not work in my dorm, neither in the dorm that I had to cross to get to the common areas and also the first common room could not provide a sufficient wifi signal.

Overall, its an okay sleepover if you dont expect much and are prepared for the conditions -- and pay a cheap price. 
I paid 9€ per person, thats okay, but I read from someone (maybe another season) that they paid 28€ per person in a dorm and this I would not consider as adequate!
Also, I would like to know with the booking, if I am booking a dorm in an access-room and people in another dorm has to pass my dorm to reach their dorm, but apparently in Hungary that seems to be normal. 

To be best prepared: bring a blindfold and earplugs.
--> the street is close, loud and the emergency exit sign shines bright like a diamond through the night and the dorm ;) 
Also, if new guests arrive, the staff is not shy and simply turns on the lights to show them their beds.
