Budapest being a historical & cultural mecca, staying in Mandy Apartments will echo the vibe. The apartment is inside a big, traditionally-designed structure. That is why the guest will be provided  with three keys: to the building, to the unit and to the room. With this arrangement, it`s like assuming the guise of a local. Take note that, unlike any hotel,  there will be no regular personnel manning the place except at the time of guest`s relayed-beforehand arrival  or cleaning up the unit for the next visitor. Still, the staff one will meet are of the helpful, cheerful type. The room (the one assigned to me) has a flat TV, ref, microwave oven, large sofa & center table, big bed, kitchen counter & cabinets, private bath plus fast wifi. There is also a shared kitchen for all the rooms. The neighborhood has its mix of bars, groceries, shops and with public transportation options just nearby (bus, tram and a bit further, the Oktogon Metro Station). Within walking distance, among others,  is St. Stephen`s Cathedral, the Opera and the Parliament. For its features plus central location, one gets more than what is being paid. This is a top-draw accommodation.

One fine place

When you arrive at the apartment the street has a lot of graffiti don't let this  put you off, once you go through the door into the courtyard  you are greeted by the landlady who takes you to the apartment in the corner of the building.

Once inside you have a very large room and a smaller room where there is a fridge. although this not on-suite the bathroom is across the landing and is for your use only, this comprises of  a toilet, washbasin and shower which were very clean and there was plenty of hot water.

The apartment was very quiet despite there being some nightclubs in the area.

Overall this ticked all the boxes landlady was extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble, for  a apartment that is in the centre of Budapest it is very well priced and if I  or my friends are coming back  this would be the first place we would make for.   

CENTRAL LOCATION

Nice apartment located very close to the center and you can walk to everywhere.

As for the apartment itself it is OK. We got the room with private bathroom. However the bathroom is not inside your room. It is located in the comunal area (kitchen) and you have to lock it and unlock it when you want to use it.

Good location for sightseeing

Everything was morethan perfect,the location is great, the apartment is very nice and comfortable. The hosts are great. Marian and Laci are very friendly and hospitable. They provided us with a transfer to and from the airport and gava advices where to go and where to exchange money

The best place to stay in Budapest!

location is very good, cheap, clean. the room has eveything you need, you won't be dissapointed. the only negative thing is that payment are made in cash only, no credit cards (that did not matter for us cause it was cheap enough).
