We had a business launch at this place. I was greated really warmly upon arrival. The staff was really helpful, professional and everything went smoothly. The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and friendly. I should highlight the taste and the quality of the dishes. Our main course, steak with goose liver was delicious, really gorgeous. It was a real Christmas in my mouth. Unfortunately I could not drink a nice wine with it though there was a nice wine list also.  I decided I should come back with my family soon.

Excellent dishes, fast, friendly and professionale service

We stayed there for one night. The hotel is close to the road 4 which is perfect for a break of driving. 
Parking in front of the hotel. We were traveling by motorbikes and we could park our bikes save inside the hotel area behind the gate. 
The hotel has also a restaurant which offers very delicious fresh food. Highly recommended! 
The staff is very friendly and helpful. 
The rooms are clean with ac and wifi.

Nice place with a great restaurant 

We had some guest over from Holland and decided to go for diner here. We where surprised by the good service and quality of the food they served. We had a good time in Alfold Hotel and Etterem and we will come back for sure.


Good food and nice atmosphere

A nice, budget hotel in a quiet but central location. The rooms are a decent size and clean. The hotel staff are all friendly and can speak some English. The food in the restaurant is good but a bit limited. The bed linen leaves a little to be desired in terms of quality - but tolerable on the whole.

The rooms were sparse , the breakfast was very poor and the restaurant closes at 2000 and the bar at 2200. Guests seem an inconvenience. The staff seem aghast when we arrived at 1915 and wanted a meal. The food was OK although nothing special. We were the only guests. Breakfast was a cold buffet, limited and when it was gone it was gone. No coffee and no juice. The second day we did get fried eggs.

Where guests seem an inconvenience

When we arrived in September 2018, they had no record of our booking. We wanted 2 beds for my son and I, ended up with one.  Promised they would give us a larger room, never happened.  Management is less then helpful.  There was no soap, shampoo or hair dryer in the bathroom.  For 5 days the towels and  linens never changed.  I had to ask or get fresh towels myself.  Breakfast was not what we expected.  Few cold cuts, vegetables, scrambled eggs and jam served on plates covered with foil. Had to ask for more coffee.  I wish we never booked this place, and  hope nobody does. We would never go back. Unfriendly staff and management. HJB
