The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable with a lovely deck. Delicious breakfast each morning. Walkable to city center and castle if you don’t mind some hill climbing on the way back. We enjoyed our time in Eger.

Beautiful view, quiet, and friendly

Stayed here for one night and for sure I would recommend it. The room was big, with stylish old furniture. Very good varied breakfast. Staff was very professional, customer oriented, but also friendly.

This nice and clean hotel located in a quiet neighborhood on the hillside of the town might be just what you are looking for when visiting Eger.

Good breakfast, nice room, good service

I love this place. The best stay during our Hungary trip. The room was beautiful, the view is astonishing, the service professional and friendly. Charlie (the owner) is a sweetheart.
The castle is around 5 minutes walk, and city center is 10 minutes. I warmly recommend it!

Excellent

The hotel is located on the "Rosehill" of Eger, in a flowery suburban area. Service is the most polite, breakfast plentiful with the best homemade jam ever. I'd recommend it to anyone travelling in the neighbourhood.

Perfect

Panorama Panzio is a little out of the way, and if you're on foot as I was it is a hike to get up the hill that it is on.  That being said the view from the balcony which overlooks the entire city of Eger is more then worth the hard climb up.  The room was on the small side but furnished with beautiful old furniture.  The balcony was not attached to the room but that was a necessity since the rooms are all on the eastern side of the house but the glorious views are to the west.  The Panzio itself is on a quiet residential street.  The owner was kind and helpful before I left for the day he recommended things to do in Eger.  The breakfast was tasty as well, make sure you take a close look at the tables in the breakfast room, they are very unique.  All in all I would definitely stay here again and encourage others to as well.

Wonderful View!

Panorama Panzió is a pretty, clean and confortable place to stay. We had two rooms on the first floor with a lovely roof terrace attached. Service was friendly, breakfast tasty and the price more than reasonable. It's not exactly in a central location, but taxis for the steep way uphill are easy to find in the centre and are inexpensive.

Very nice place

Hotel have not reception. You must call owner. If you want something, you must call owner. Hotel looks historical, but we haven´t good feeling here. Wellnes is small with infra sauna, solarium and it is opened only a few hours daily. We expect more.

Too small hotel with poor service

They advertised the rooms on their webpage at a price, then in the confirmation they offered me a higher price. The receptionist did not want to understand what the problem was. She arrogantly repeated again and again that on the webpage I only asked for an offer (it was a booking page) , and the price on the webpage did not matter. Stay away from them.
