We enjoyed 5 nights at this nice pension. The swimmingpool in the garden was perfect for the warm days when not at the lake. The spa inside was okay for the rainy day, but we didn't try the sauna. We rented bikes at the pension and everything we needed was within walking or biking distance. The breakfast is various and fine. The host is very helpful with your needs. The spoken languages at the pension are Hungarian and German as it is in all Keszthely.

Quit and peaceful

The main disadvantage of this guesthouse is its location – it’s about a 20 minute walk into town, or bus and train station. The nearest restaurant is a 10 minute walk. You really do need a car to make the guesthouse work. If you don’t have a car, then perhaps low prices will compensate.
Owner is friendly, but speaks German and Hungarian rather than English.
Breakfast is provided, and, is ample, but repetitive: rolls and meat, bread and jam, and yoghurt.
My room was quite large and had two twin beds, tv, with wardrobes, small bedside tables and a shower/toilet. It also had a balcony, though no outside light.
A computer was available for Internet access. Outside there was a garden with a small swimming pool. There was also a Jacuzzi, though I did not find it.
I was surprised that the room was not cleaned daily, nor the sheets, nor towels changed.
Only recommended for German speaking travellers with their own transport and on a budget.
