Well eaten, copious and democratic prices, very good soups and well served, blue cord to try without hesitation, very large scalopes, has a parking lot, a kind servant even if English is not easy for him, you can stop there without hesitation.

This place was one of the cheapest and stayed for one night only but I wish we had decided to pay more and choose another place. The room we got was downstairs, very small and we had doubts about the cleanliness.The window was next to the main road and there was traffic noise it was hard to sleep. The noise stopped at around 11 though, does not disturb you if you got to bed late anyway. Some good points: The waiter was extremely polite and helpful. It's one mintue from the Tesco you can buy stuff and more importantly change money if you are going to Slovakia. You can walk over the bridge to Slovakia and buy the motorway tickets right after the bridge in a small hidden office, look for the Vignette sign. You can walk down to the Danube if you wish.

low (?) price - low quality

We paid little for this Pension and had few expectations.  Yes, the staff are pretty much unilingual but we managed OK.  The rooms are updated, quiet and clean with comfortable furnishings... first surprise given the price point!

The plain-looking dining area portended little yet again surprised us pleasantly with superb presentations, fresh ingredients, and fine cooking.  Again, very reasonably priced for food and wine/beer.  Menu is in German and English as well.  HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for food and lodging!

Surprise, Surprise!!

We do speak six different languages and even though it was impossible to communicate with the guy who was in charge at the reception, as he could only speak Hungarian. Even words as "room", "breakfast" or "reservation" were a mystery there. We had already booked online in advance, and even though it took us like more than half an hour to get out room. 
The room was large and quite ok as well as the bathroom. If you wish to have a body peeling this is your place, the towels are so hard that you will feel its scrub effect.
The breakfast was quite good and generally I would say that it was a good value for money, with the exception of the communication issues. 

Stay only possible if you are fluent in Hungarian, otherwise don't even try it 

Whenever i am in Hungary we always visit this place. Situated just at the bottom of the bridge from across Slovakia, just about 200m from the River Danube,the best place for lunch or dinner or even for a few drinks with friends. If you like hungarian cusine it well worth a visit, try as much as you can.
