The apartment is nice. The only issue is that you can hear literally everything people say in the apartment next to yours. Very annoying if you would like to sleep. There's a party going on in the next apartment, no sleep was possible in the bedroom. No reception, and no personnel after 9pm to ask for assistanc. It's a pity as the place looks nice, but the walls between the apartments are unfortunately paper thin. Stayed in apartment 4.

You would not think this is where you will find one of the best restaurants in the country. We have been here many times already and it never disappoints. Mostly Hungarian cuisine prepared in a very tasteful and decorative manner. Both the building and the yard have a great atmosphere, the interior reflects old Hungarian village arcitecrure (authentic, does not seem fake at all). Waiters are attentive. Prices are affordable. Portions are generous. The experience is always super pleasant. 

One of the best restaurants in the country

We spent 2 nights in this "Inn" and had all meals in its restaurant. The staff was very nice and helpful, the food was excellent with very big portions. 
We saw that a lot of guests were coming by car to have lunch here, a good visited place. 
The rooms (apartments) are quet, since situated in the backyard, behind of the restaurant building, They have a covered terrace, a small kitchen, 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms with new furniture. I can recommend it if you visit the Kaposvar area in the County Somogy.
Only one negative remark: the mattress of the bed was very soft.

Nice rooms and good food

    We had two fantastic main dishes and dessert! My friend had the Duck liver wrapped in Pork loin. It was an attractive eye-catching presentation and garnished with a creative flair! She almost did not want to destroy the art, especially the verticle meat sculpture. The pork harmonized well with the duck liver and was accompanied with mashed potato croquets formed into elongated shapes.
    I had the Borjú which is veal roasted and sliced and staggeted to show off the pink medium rare color. It was accompanied by mushrooms,  round potato croquets, gravy and teased with attractive garnishings.
   Our dessert was the Lütyű, sponge cake with poppy seeds and served with vanilla sauce. This dish was a definitely unique presentation and tasted superbly.
   These three dishes were indeed a surprise to find in a small country village. The Chef on this visit was Szilárd and apparently has that creative eye which came out in all three dishes.
   The restaurant owner, Mr Kassai, had taken this building, which I had known years ago, and totally renovated it. The interior displayed the entire overhead wood beams in their natural shades.
   We visited the Kassai Fogado because we had heard from several friends that they are the best in the region. These "rumors" were certainly true in our First Visit.
    Our waiter was very well trained. He remained responsive to our needs and was very friendly and hospitable.
    In our next two weeks, we will most certainly visit this restaurant again and again. I, myself, cannot wait to order other menu items and be treated to a wonderful meal. I understand they also have daily lunch menus during the week.
   I have had unbelievable Tasting Menu's offered by high-end restaurants in cities. The three items that we had in this restaurant could easily fit into these Tasting Menus, except for two interesting reasons.
   The first is the price. Here is much more price-friendly. The second is the amount of food served. Here the portion is considerably more.
    The Kassai Fogado offers the opportunity to see..., to taste..., to enjoy... fancy dining to this rural country region.
    Congratulations to the staff, especially to the Chef and owner of Kassai Fogado.
