Absolutely filthy room, blood etc on bed sheets, TV didn't work, breakfast wasn't edible, no kettle in room, bathroom filthy and shower door fell apart when touched, staff were rude and locked doors at night preventing escape Incase of fire! Broken glass and dead birds in clear view from 2nd floor window. Not even cheap, absolutely disgusting service and I'm shocked it's still in business!

Filthy deathtrap 

Flexible, polite staff, extremely comfy beds, delicious food - the whole stay was very positive experience.
Our first booking was in advance, arrived late but could still get dinner - that was really appreciated.
Returning from Croatia we decided to stop for the night in the same place and the experience was similarly friendly and positive.

Best choice to make the drive to the seaside less stressful

Recently eaten at the hotel's restaurant and had a terrible experience. It was lunchtime and there were lots of people there. I had to wait 10 minutes to get noticed by a server and after another 15 minutes of waiting time they informed me that there was no food for me. At least not what I ordered. So I could order something different which didn't meet my dietary needs. So I had to leave without having lunch! Horrible experience, I DO NOT  recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Eating at the hotel's restaurant was a nightmare

We needed a place to rest after a long trip from Italy. We have used the hotel, also as a stop, two years ago, on our way to Italy and it was OK. We thought we could use it again. Coincidence, we were given the same apartment (279) we got two years ago. Only this time the beds were not prepared. In fact it looked as if somebody just left, there was also a strong human sweat smell... I went back at the reception desk to report the situation. I was offered two rooms instead (113 & 114) with the appropriate apologies, no complain there. Next day we left in a hurry as we wanted to get back home asap. Inevitably, we, in fact the kids, forgot a few things, a phone charger in the power outlet, and two flash lights. The Hotel's Neon panel was flickering in the night and two letters were completely out. They thought it's creepy, that's why they wanted the flash lights... Another particularity of the hotel is quite creepy, the only emergency exit, the escape stairs are going straight to the restaurant and the door closes at midnight... The only other access to the rooms is through a hydraulic piston powered elevator (never seen such an elevator). In spite of smoke detectors installed in every room, in case of a fire during the night, you would be basically trapped... However, no fire that night, we got home safe. When we realized the missing phone charger and flash lights, we called the hotel hoping they found them and they could send the items to us... Well, they didn't find them... This is inadmissible for a 4-star hotel charging  75 Euros/room/night. NEVER AGAIN! The hotel seems neglected and the people working there seem negligent.

Returning from Italy

Stayed here on a business trip as it was the closest place to stay for my meeting.

The staff were friendly and welcoming which is always a good start.

I ate in the restaurant as it was easy due to being a little way out of the town.

The food is generally Hungarian specialities which were suitable but I’d rather have ate else where as it was just ok.

The rooms well were very old school, the room I had was very orange, the wall paper and bed covers etc were the same colour.

I ended up turning the light off to have a break from it.

I did enjoy my stay though, it’s always good to try somewhere different. 

I’d stay again as there wasn’t any issues to point out 

Old Fashioned

I stayed here only one night, in transit from Italy to Romania, and I choose this hotel due to it's proximity to highway. We slept very well, the bed are comfortable, the room was clean and quiet. The only problem that I want to mention is the quality of the products served at breakfast. The food was low quality for a so called 4 stars hotel. The only good thing was egg omelet and freshly cut tomatoes. I recommend this hotel for a night rest on long journeys.

we spend a night there it was not happy sleep and eating in the restaurant hotel...
It is close to the motorway M7. We our friend were not happy about the service and overall stay. They maybe have his wedding business or other ... but for 4**** hotel very poor.

not happy

i spent 4 nights at the hotel. The room was clean and warm, maybe too much hot for me, i slept every night with the window open when outside there was -5 C°. Wi-Fi free and fast. Breakfast was quite good, i used the restaurant once, gulasch was good.
