This is the best area in Siofok,because on the beach but also in the corso street too.They has a very good restaurant and very good pizza. It’s the best for active vacation. The employees also very kind an the breakfast was very good .I can offer for everybody.

The best hotel and restaurant in Siofok

We wanted to eat there Saturday evening, it was busy but saw a few tables free, we asked the waiter guy if he can make us a table for 7, he looked around for 2 second and said sorry I can not fix it… I don’t think it was difficult manouver, but maybe he thought I worked enough for today…I recognized him from last year, he was working next door I think, then he was also really rude when we just had a drink in the afternoon.

We have been coming to this hotel for 5 years and always found it excellent. However it recently changed hands (due to Covid?) and the quality has dropped. The breakfast is poor, a much smaller selection than before and the staff are not trained, resulting in items running out. You used to be able to order eggs, but now it is just scrambled. The restaurant door is always open which means it is hot when it is 30C+ outside. The rooms are air conditioned and clean, although the beds are not comfortable. Overall value for money is good and it is better than most other hotels in the area. Free beach access is provided.

Good value hotel but drop in quality in 2021

Unfortunately, we have a bad experience with the pizzeria. We've been there a few times before, even the pizza was delicious but now we got a dried pizza as if it had just been microwaved and the toppings were barely on it. We asked for tomato sauce next to it and then we saw on the bill that 700 ft was charged for the two spoons of tasteless tomato sauce. The problem is not that it costs money but 700 ft. The next day, another pizzeria was charged 250 ft for the special tomato sauce and it was both tastier and bigger. Here in La Riva, they constantly wanted to drink drinks. If one does not want to drink do not force it anymore. Maybe this pizza sauce is compensated. And 1,500 ft was charged for the service fee. Outrageous a place here we no longer put our feet up and we do not recommend others to avoid it far !!!!!!!!!!!!

The pizzeria part of the hotel is awful, no one should go there!!

Very nice place for holiday. Hotel is nice and clean, restaurant is very good, friendly staff. Beach is very close (free for guests), also market street. The beach is luxury, very clean sand in the lake with long gradual entry. I recommend.

Nice hotel and restaurant

we stayed 3 nights as a family in this hotel , the hotel was clean with spacious rooms and rich breakfast , location is perfect on the lake and in the middle of Siofok main attraction which is the night life , some language difficulties with the staff , Barbra with her beautiful smile was an extra bonus , she was extremely helpful so from Jordan me and my family send her our regards.

nice boutique hotel

We were a big group of friends. We ordered the drinks and some pizzas and pastas and also a salad and one cheesecake dessert. The food was delicious but the wait was too big ... 
That's the only reason why I am giving 3 stars. 

Long wait but delicious food

I visited the place in peak season and had a chance to chat with members of staff.
The seemingly glorious place obviously has some underlying managment issues. Employees look fatige and over worked. I personally over heard manager/owner screaming and intimidating employees. While engaging in short conversations with staff I found out that they have to work 12 to 16 hrs shifts and they don't get over time pay at all and sometimes don't even get paid for the hours they work.
Employee's accomodations are appaling,dirty,bug infested and unmaintained. Remember these are the people who serv you.
La Riva's owners could obviously afford to create a better work enviroment, they just choose not to.
I highly recommend you NOT to visit this place.

Over worked,under paid staff living and working under slave labour like conditions.

We had a launch here with my kids. The food was freshly made, but do not expect anything special. We had also some greek salad, which was made from fresh vegetables and was good. It is OK place to eat, but do not expect too much.

OK, but nothing above average

If you are visiting Lake Balaton and staying at Siófok then this is the hotel to stay at. Very clean and modern with a cosy feel about it. We were greeted very well by a lovely smiling lady. The room was beautiful and clean with a great view of the lake. We were upgraded to the superior room. Breakfast was amazing with a great variety of things to eat and drink. We had a meal on the first night and i think it was one of the best pizzas i have ever had. They also have a Jacuzzi and saunas. Well worth a stay
