Siofok

The room (No. 7) was double-storey and equipped with everything necessary. The price for single use was exceptionally low. Especially good: the free parking on the locked boarding area, the cozy pool and above all the excellent restaurant with the wonderful beer garden and very friendly staff.

Affordable rooms in the best location with great restaurant

I chose this location as a base for visiting some places on Lake Balaton. Its purpose was accomplished but as accommodation it was very scarce. The Lilliputian room, you couldn't turn around, personal inexistence (I gave the keys back to the cleaning lady. The cleaning and the room were never done in the 3 days I stayed!!!! Towels had to be sent to the cleaning lady. The price was very low but it was even less. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone as a hotel, maybe as a vacation home they have better systems.

A stopover in Siofok

Hotel is in great location, next the main street with lot of pubs and bars. Siofok has amazing nightlife. Hotel has pool and restaurant. Pool is enough big, they has one big and one small for babys. They has barbecue and bar near the pool, but it never works. and bar was always empty. Rooms are clean and comfortable, we have apartment for 6 people with aircon and kitchen. You must pay extra for Parking and aircon and air taxes. Food was OK. Balaton has clean beachas and best beach is coca cola beach whith white sand and amazinch chairs, music, library and bars.

Right Choice

Stayed here for three nights, the hotel was within walking distance of the train station although the directions he gave were pretty ropey! (I got better directions off the net for a hotel on the same street but cant for the life of me find them now!!) Absically go to the entrance to the station which is on the OTHER side of the tracks from the main building..(so use the underpass)  turn right when you leave the station. Keep walking for about 300 metres then turn left which will bring you onto the road the hotel is on (Kinizsi u.). Walk to the end of the road and viola!

Its right next to the beach too! 

On arrival you book into apartments by going into the restaurant... wehn we arrived it was closed.. we rang the doorbell on the gate to the B&B a couple of times and someone came. 

Accommodation was good in terms of facilities, our was a small double room rather than an apartment , we could just swing a cat in it, but it was fine for our needs. Had a Tv & Fridge which was good and bathroom new and nice looking. 

Small choice of TV stations and no English language channels.

The adjoining restaurant seemed good although wee eneded up not eating in it. 

pool & terrace area great. 

Would use this accommodation again. Its close enought to the main strip, but not so close that you are constantly in the noise. A little noisy at about 4am when people walked past our open window (Our window were right by the pavement) on their way home from the clubs but no biggie.

Cute little B&B

Stayed here for two nights, the hotel was within walking distance of the train station along a quiet road.  On arrival you book into apartments by going into the restaurant.  The establishment is cash only, no credit cards, and the owner prefers to be paid in Euros but as I was carrying only forints and we arrived quite late in the evening, he allowed us to pay next day.

Accommodation was very good in terms of facilities, decor somewhat dated but very functional and apartment had a small balcony.  Small choice of TV stations and no English language channels.

The adjoining restaurant was very cheap, costing less than the bars and cafes on the nearby strip and food was good and plentiful.

Only real problem was the fire alarm going off on both mornings, seemingly due to guests in other rooms smoking too clse to the detectors!

Would definitely use this accommodation again.


Good value accommodation for families

My family stayed in a six person apartment at the Pater Apartment and had a great time.  Even before arriving, the owner was responsive, honest, and accurately answered all our questions.  The apartment was recently built, was spacious, comfortable, and clean.  They had the advantage of free off-street parking, restaurant, and pool.  The location was very close to the lake but far enough away from the Siofolk night-life (several hundred meters) to be enjoyable and quiet for families.  The owner and his daughter went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable.  We would recommend staying at the Pater.


Great Place and Friendly

We have spent a wonderful summer holiday at Pater Apartements.
The hospitality was excellent, the apartments were great, exclusive and comfortable. The location of the house was central and within easy reach of everything. I can recommend it to anybody.
