I don't know how to get there without a car, but it's a great place by car. It's 7 minutes by car, walking to the hill. The beach is nearby. It's very quiet. The hotel itself is very nice, the area is well maintained, there's a pool, flowers, fountain. There's a terrace with a chaise. Parking in the yard is free. The owners are very welcoming and friendly, told us how to get to the center. The room is cozy, quite clean. There's a refrigerator, a teacup, glasses, a few dishes. You can enjoy the kitchen downstairs. There's a balcony with chairs - in the garden.

You can't doubt it. It's the best choice.

My wife and I were at Kora Panzio in mid-July. Lovely hosts, delicious breakfast, bus stop nearby. But we walked to the center of Tihani. 500 meters to the lake. There's a good comfortable bed, refrigerator, tea room.

An unforgettable vacation in a quiet place on the beach of Balaton

Our hosts were so friendly and warm. The setting is beautiful and quiet. Far enough from central Tihany for peaceful setting but close enough to walk or drive. The room was immaculately clean and very comfortable with a lovely deck area outside. Wonderful home cooked breakfast as well. Highly recommended.

Friendly, beautiful, and quiet oasis

We were invited by Kora Panzio a few days ago. We can only give a positive opinion: the owners are very kind. They welcomed us as real guests and not as customers. Our room was clean and quiet. Good breakfast.

How to be at home

Living in a boarding house is perfectly in line with nature - a wonderful garden, a comfortable house, hospitable hosts!. A quiet corner in a resort. We were in the days when there was a lavender festival, and booking accommodation at an affordable price was not so easy.. We were lucky to get into this wonderful garden with its wonderful owners. In the room there is a comfortable bed, a sofa, a wonderful terrace, there is a teapot, water can be drunk from under the tap.. Of the minuses - there is not enough fawn. It was very nice to have breakfast under the singing of birds, enjoying a beautiful bus.

The village idyll

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a fantastic stay. The service was excellent with tasty breakfasts served in the  beautiful gardens. Nothing seemed too much for our hosts. Kora panzio is near the port so about 2.5 k from centre of Tihany but there is a little train that regularly goes to the centre and plenty of lovely hikes nearby.

Beautiful setting 

Stayed here 1 night. What a fantastic friendly couple running the place really focused on customer service. We arrived on motorbike and the place has a nice secure private parking. A dip in the small cold pool was also welcomed after driving in the sun all day. 
Our room was clean, spacious and nice with a little balcony. 
And most important - we would stay here again next time we go. 

Fantastic service

Already the title highlights the type of the place. The couple of managers are very nice to him who tries to perform an Englishman who is still indentured but of extreme sympathy and cordiality. A very reliable person advised and helped us over any doubts about the usual as well as where... and especially the tourists.

Paradise leaves first.

I spent one night at Kora Panzio, we arrived later than the scheduled check in time but the hosts were very flexible and kind when we phoned to let them know about the delay. Very difficult spot to find, even-though with google map and navigator the place is not signed on the main road and it's very hidden in a dark and secondary alley from the street. It took 20' to find it, thanks also to the lady who was on the phone giving some directions. The house is lovely, with private parking, swimming pool, terrace. Very clean and quiet room. Only disappointment was that the fridge in the room was off and we couldn't use it/switch on, being summer we wanted to put some beverages in but we couldn't. We were the only guests in the entire property that night and i would have expected at least the fridge on. Only one towel per person provided, it would be good to get at least 2 towels per person, as we got in all the other accommodations in Hungary. Breakfast was tasty but a bit poor for our taste, one omelette with veggie per person and jam/marmalade w bread provided. Fantastic view from the balcony, right in the nature/garden. I would just suggest more attention to details and better service to the customers, for the rest is perfect but i wouldn't go back, preferring maybe a more central location.

A few details missing to become an excellent choice!

It's a little house in the middle of the greenery, managed by an older couple. There are very few rooms, but toads have a private bathroom. The owner makes breakfast in the kitchen on the ground floor and you can have it on the outdoor terrace. The owners are very friendly and don't want to enter and give you information about the village and what you can visit. The house has a swimming pool and private parking. It has no lake views, but as I said you are surrounded by greenery. It's a bit difficult to find. The area is quiet but to get to the village you must necessarily take the car. Since it was a low season the reactors close early, so we were lucky to find a pizzeria open from nine o'clock at night.
