Located on the main street where many wineries have their tasting rooms. Rustic comfortable rooms with a modern bathroom. Restaurant and bar on site but may be closed certain days. Very reasonably priced and the wine they produce is excellent and also reasonably priced. No elevator. Free on street parking right outside door. Make sure you get instruction on exiting and re-entering the building at night time as doors are locked. Ask for a room not facing the street to reduce noise.

Small hotel with character directly in the heart of town.

It was our first visit with spending the night in Villany. The village itself is simply a must to visit. It is just 2 hours scenic drive from Budapest. This guesthouse is eveything you imagined and wished for. Rustic interior design but with high modern standards. The location simply could not be better. It is in the heart of the village with plenty easy parking spaces around. A warm breakfast is included in the price.

A lovely place to stay at

We have visited Halasi with my friends. we had a reservation in advance. We did nit get the main courses for more than 1.5hours, meanwhile the restaurant was not even half-full. The waiter could not say anything what had happened in the kitchen, but we had to leave - as we had a wine tasting appointment - without eating but waiting 1.5hours. Not recommending to anyone unless if you have nothing to do 

Waiting for ever

The place itself is amazing, classy between old and modern, majority of the staff is very kind. Although it was really disturbing that our room was downstairs and the breakfast served next to the room so we heard every noises since 7am and on top if anybody passed by the window talking we overheard every words (morning staff liked chatting there). Next time (if there will be any) I'll ask for a room upstairs hoping being less noisy. Overall the food and wines are great, staff in the restaurant is extremely kind while the lady serving the breakfast was a bit grumpy and unpolite.

Good for a weekend

Went with a lot if expectations especially for the food. Nothing great in taste, presentation was professional though. The service left much to be desired. Surprisingly they said they had no wine tasting menu. The merlot wine was good though.

Average food, nice garden ambience, good view

Halasi panzio is lovely little hotel with delightful rooms with stylish old furniture with the smell of past. Our rooom was big enough with nice spacious bathroom. Really annoying is noise from the street, even at 5-6 in the morning. The price is maybe little bit higher. We also had a breakfast. It wasn´t a large offer - mainly omellet and egs. On the second day the dont had french toast. We needed to ask the waiter about coffe, which shoould be offered to the guests, but it was in the price of breakfast. The best from breakfast menu is the plate of Hungarian specialitites (sausage, pate etc.) - really worthy to try.
