Host was very kind and the rooms were very clean. Even though the bathroom was shared didn't have much trouble, well coordinated among us.The breakfast was good with healthy options for fruits and vegetables. I liked the anchovies. Nice location and we got opportunity to meet people from different parts of the world. Breakfast time was fun as we had great people stayed we all shared our adventures.

 We had to get drinking water from the downstairs bathroom in the night, it would have been better to have water filled in a container for the guests.

Nice Stay

We arrived here late and all restaurants closed but the host (forgotten her name) did offer solutions. We had a living area with a microwave, kettle and toaster. Room was lovely and clean. Breakfast was a buffet style with fish, eggs, cold meat, selection of bread, pancakes,cheese and fruit. As we were leaving had a lovely conversation with the host such a lovely stay. Would recommend here.

Lovely host.

A lovely guest house with free Wifi and breakfast included.  The rooms was spotless and the landlady was happy for us to use the dining room and lounge in the evening.  Only grips is the number of bathrooms shared between guests - one more would be very helpful.  A good stop on first night if you are doing the clockwise ring road tour.

This home is very nice, comfy, and cozy. The host is incredibly kind and helpful. We so appreciated her and our stay in her home, including the delicious breakfast that she made. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Kind host and beautiful home

We stayed here as a family of four in May for a night, it was comfortable and the host was very friendly and welcoming to all of us. The rooms were nice and neat. I would recommend to anyone traveling through Akranes.

Welcoming and comfortable guesthouse

Accomodation in Iceland is expensive. Luckily we found this place on our way north. Our room was small but everything was there. Cleanliness in no problem in Iceland : all the places we visited were spic and span. So also this place. Very nice hosts who make you feel at home. Great breakfast buffet with lots of choice. We will go back on our next trip.

Very good value

We stayed 2 nights and had a lovely time. Good hosts, comfy beds, lovely breakfast and very clean. Our son was playing at a football match so they offered us to have the breakfast early. Our sons loved the place, the big closed garden where they could play. There is a private parking. No kitchen to cook but you have a 24/7 microwave, coffee, hot chocolate & tea. As well as they have a small fridge. We wore so lucky to get the good weather so we could go to the beach :) Definitely going again.

Grate weekend

The owner of the house was really nice and talkative. It is a clean and comfortable house. The room is nice as well the shared bathroom. The only dislike is that you do not have a kitchen, you only have a microwave. The breakfast is medium.
