Our room was very old dated.
Small kitchen corner very useful for people who want to cook with all you need including cutlery, plates or pot
The mattress is very comfortable and the place quite, we had a good night
Easy to park
No breakfast included
The very small bathroom needs renovation 
It you want to go back in time this is the place to be

Like at grandma’s

We have been in much more expensive places but nothing that feels like home like this place… if you are lucky enough to come in the Christmas season then the Kaffi Kyrrd will be all super decorated (even more over the top than usual :-) with Christmas themes… just magical! The amazing feeling is reinforced by a gracious and attentive staff.  What a place! Looooooved it!

You cannot miss this place!

A very nice place. It is a little bit outside of the centre but this doesn'z matter. The Hostel is clean, cozy and well equipet. The kitchen has everthing you need to cook. The rooms are big enough and the shared bathroom is spotless clean.  Maybe a seperate toillet would be a great advantage. We recomend this Hostel.

Nice Place

Very warm welcome.  Nice hosts. We stayed in the two bedroom apartment since we were a family of five. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. Free parking and wifi and close to a couple restaurants.  Beautiful views of ocean and mountains.  Decorations were eclectic, lots of stuff, cramped the room a bit. Was also odd the only tv was in the entry room/ foyer with a few chairs. Not conducive for family movies. A choppy layout. Those are really the only negatives. We loved the sun room and just looking out.

Very homey accommodation.

The family room was spacious and welcoming.  The view was lovely. We especially enjoyed having access to a shared kitchen, dining and living room. With food being so pricey, it was terrific to have a kitchen that already had tea, sugar, salt and such. Definitely recommend for exploring the peninsula. 

Perfect

My daughter and I stumbled upon this awesome coffee shop / boutique hotel while traveling to West Iceland Peninsula on April 6-8. We stayed in the most awesome room with the most awesome view. What made our stay spectacular was seeing shooting star and then getting the rare experience of seeing the Northern Lights!  I am attaching pictures of what I saw from their parking lot at 2:00am. Also, we used this hotel as a base camp while exploring the peninsula. The hostess was so gracious, warm and kind. I can't wait to visit in the summer!  
Also, the picture of my daughter in the window was our view!  

Mom and daughter road trip

We visited snowy Borgarnes earlier this month, staying at the spacious, excellently stocked and spotlessly clean apartment for one night. I could not recommend it more highly and loved every second of our stay.

On a practical level the apartment is centrally located, has parking right outside, is very generously sized and well priced. But more than that it’s the thoughtful touches, beautiful decoration and incredibly warm welcome that makes it 5 star. Possibly the best bit being that it is located right above the family run Kaffi Kyrrd, so if you fancy a great coffee, a delicious cake or glass of fizz to finish your day - you only have to wander downstairs and settle in.

Magical stay in snowy Borgarnes

It's a homey place filled with an eclectic mix of displayed objects. Some show a sense of humor such as the frowning figure holding his nose in the bathroom.
The owners are friendly and welcoming.
There's a comfortable living room and a well equipped kitchen.

Good accomodations

So happy to have booked this homestay. It fully deserves its name as you will definately feel like at home. An amazing place and host! Received the most warming welcome by a host during my 2 weeks trip in Iceland. Their approach is clearly "visitor first", as they are doing everything to address every visitors need. Beautifully equipped, paying attention to every detail and with an INCREDIBLE view from the living room. Well done and keep up the great work. 

Highly recommend 

Last words I got before check in-:”we are gonna super upgrade you!” And damn I got upgraded! From dorm to a small flat!? Super cozy and a really nice restaurant and checkin in a flower shop/restaurant! Love this place and I’ve only been here 10 minutes!
