We stayed here while we were exploring Golden Circle and had the upstairs in the main guesthouse room ourselves. The bed was very comfortable, the house was clean and nicely decorated and the host was super accommodating. She’s a little shy but warmed up to us and we had nice conversations. There’s a kitchen in the other guesthouse where you can prepare your own meals. There’s multiple areas to sit down and relax on the couches or read a book which is a nice change because a lot of the guesthouses we stayed at didn’t have this comfort. We walked around her property and her horses are lovely. Overall, we had such a nice time and would love to come back! 😊

Cozy Comfortable Stay

It's a lovely house in the green, a tiny room and it's there, but the bathroom is on the ground floor and you can access it from the upper floor through an unsecured staircase, the living room is nice, the hot tub?

A staircase and a jacuzzi to be upgraded!

Home without a smile, to enter we go into the living room of the hostess who watches the TV... room overheated but spacious and clean. One SDB in which there are also toilets to be divided between 8 rooms... There is waiting to go to take a shower or to the toilet. A very strong stenchful odor emanates from the water (smell of sewage) reedibitor especially to brush your teeth... Small proper lunch.

I booked a single room, but I was lucky enough to be the only guest. Besides, the host lives in a house not far away, which means I could enjoy it all alone! (obviously some rooms were locked up) Let's just say it's in the middle of nowhere and out there has a heated hot pool and it's raining.

What a lucky day!

The house is practical (kitchen, dining and living area). There is a hot tub in the garden. You get free towels. There is only 1 bathroom, no separate toilets, which can be a bit unpractical if it's crowded. Reception was very cold, almost unfriendly.

Cosy and clean but somewhat unfriendly reception

We only spent one night in the guesthouse. The hostess is friendly. We are allowed to stay in the small house next to the main house. The room was large and clean. The house has a bathroom, a kitchen with dining area and a living room. Towels were provided. In the evening the hotpot was used. The view and sunset were breathtaking. You can watch local breakfast and Icelandic horses.

Beautiful guesthouse and stunning location

Guesthouse ideally located in the countryside. Close to Geysir, Reykholt, Landmannalaugar. We stayed there for two nights (2 adults, 2 children) in the annex house which includes 3 bedrooms on the ground floor, a living room, a kitchen. The whole set was clean. NB: shared bathroom and toilets. Everything was comfortable. Warm terrace bath with a view of the countryside (very nice!). Standard lunch. Do not hesitate to start the conversation with the housewife who is actually not very extensive but who remains friendly!

Well located, well equipped

We stayed two nights in this well-located Guest House to visit the Golden Circle, otherwise in the quiet near the Secret Lagoon.The host is not very spacious and it is the least warm welcome we have had in Iceland.We were four and had two rooms in the annex house a little old, the rooms were quite spacious with a comfortable mattress.There is a bathroom for three bedrooms which remains correct.There is a kitchen that can be used.The cleanliness of the whole is a little without it being a refreshment room.The breakfast is no more.The hot tub on the terrace is a really nice property.

Guest House is well located, correct, no more

A nice welcoming, rural spot to hide and relax during your Iceland trip. This spot is slightly out of the way. The hospitality is great. The breakfast was very good. The kids and I enjoyed our stay here immensely. Do not expect any amenities nearby. There is a kitchen to cook any food you have with you. It was also good to catch up with other travelers during dinner time. Recommended spot!

A place to get away from the tourists

We spent one night in the guesthouse - the host is unfriendly, the whole house needs to be cleaned, all the facilities (bath etc.) are extremely obsolete. Breakfast was fine. Not recommended. 8 rooms share a bathroom, which has led to traffic jam.
