Clean rooms, comfortable beds, nice communal shower, good WiFi, common kitchen area with fridge, nice view of harbour to the south, short distance to Grindavik supermarket and restaurants, and parking right outside the front door. Friendly, helpful, staff that really made an enjoyable stay for us. 10 minute drive to the Blue Lagoon - don't miss it!

Perfect Guesthouse near Grindavik & the Blue Lagoon...

After a month in Iceland, I was yearning for a nice quiet place to stay after a relaxing soak in the Blue Lagoon. My appointment at the spa was 9 pm and the hostess stayed up to wait for me to arrive after 11 pm. The room was clean and quiet with a lovely view. I really wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy the welcoming living room and the full kitchen. The only drawback was the lack of public transportation to the Blue Lagoon and the airport. (Our hostess drove me back to the Blue Lagoon where I took the shuttle to the airport).

Great value!

It was our first lodge in Iceland and we loved it. We only stayed for one night but still, we were really comfortable.
The lady is really sweet and helpful. We were arriving on a very early flight and she aloud an early check in, so we could rest. Place really clean. Room 5 has a nice view to the sailing harbour. I recommend it!

It's a lovely place

I arrived on my first day in Iceland with a plan to stay for two nights in order to beat Jetlag and visit the Blue Lagoon, which is only ten minutes away by car. The place is clean and the manager is hospitable, although she doesn't live on site so pops in to help with check in. The bed was comfy and warm and apart from other guests there is no noise. Great value, but I must admit that the water pressure in the shower was not that great. Otherwise I was very happy there. 

Friendly warm little place

We stayed in room 2 (triple room) for one night. Guesthouse is very clean, good equipment (kitchen and Internet access). 5m drive from the blue lagoon. Place is very calm with views of the small fishing port. Totally worth the price.
