We picked Borg Apartments as our base for two nights for exploring the South Coast and the Westman Islands. It could also be a good choice for Highland detours to Landmannalaugar or Þórsmörk.
Before our arrival we got all the information we needed for contactless check-in. All apartments have key boxes. There were enough parking spaces for all guests.
The apartment was a decent size with a fridge and a well-equipped kitchen (microwave, oven, pots/pans etc.). We had picked up groceries in Selfoss on the way and were able to self-cater during our stay.
The location worked out well for what we had planned and I would not hesitate to book again.

Good base for the South Coast, Highlands, Westman Islands

We stayed in the Borg apartments for 2 nights when touring. The 2 bed apartment was extremely spacious, warm and well appointed.  It was in a great location for us to travel from. Loads of towels and spare bed linen. Would definitely recommend.

Great location, very spacious

Large 1 bed apartment with equipped kitchen and new bathroom. Parking on site and free. Double bed and bunk beds in the bedroom, kitchen diner and entry hall with seating. Grocery store and petrol station nearby at the ring road turn off. Apartment was clean and well heated. Check in was easy with a locked box and key which you return when leaving. Well priced for Iceland.

Good location

Our apartment was such a lovely surprise. So spacious and spotlessly clean with everything we needed for our short stay. The beds and the sofa bed were really comfortable so we slept really well for our days of adventure.
The apartments are well placed and are within easy reach of all of the town's shops and attractions and well placed for locally based jeep tours and exploring the South of Iceland. We felt really spoilt here.

Spotless and spacious

We spent 3 nights at this updated 1 bedroom apartment. Kitchen was complete and spacious. Appliances were new and all of them were ok. The apartment is close to a gas station and a market quite enough if you want to cook your own meal and have your own adventure. The place is to a long distance from Reikiavik but in a decent location to go to the South coast

Nice apartment close to the south coast

4 adults stayed overnight and the we were comfortable and rooms were clean. The Kitchen was shiny with all the necessary utensils available. Also had a dishwasher and a washer but no dryer. The sofa bed could have been more firm in one side.

Adult family stay

Didn't like the fact I have booked an apartment - so that we will have plenty of space - and received studio room. My bad as should have asked next day for different accommodation. The apartments are conveniently located to visit all sights in the south region of Iceland. Gas station, grocery shop nearby. On the other side of the road from the shops you can find alcohol shop. Very warm room which was nice after whole day of traveling. Kitchen could use more utensils.


A bit small...

We stayed here for a night. The apartment was well decorated and maintained. The kitchen was perfect for us. They have different apartments of different sizes. My friend got a apartment at first floor twice the size of my 2 bed at the same price.
The location is good. It's a small town so location doesn't matter much. Would stay here again.
