What a cute hotel near the the airport.Staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful.Rooms were prefect and spotlessly clean and just a short walk to the restaurants in the town. Can definitely recommend. Didn’t get a chance to try the food but it was very good value for Iceland.

Family Run and Friendly, we really liked this hotel, easy parking, quiet neighborhood and comfortable rooms.

The breakfast was really nice too, it was super super clean too, more than you normally get and we think there was a certain pride to it.

Very nice, we would stay there again.

We are checking out the day I am writing this review.This hotel is wonderful because of the helpful people who work here.It’s clean and quiet close to the ocean,airport and many restaurants.The staff is so accommodating.We had a very early flight and check in was at 2 but they gave us our room 4 hours prior to check in time.The 24/7 coffee and tea is a very nice feature.Overall it’s a great place,would highly recommend.

Amazing Staff

Really handy hotel for an airport stay. Hosts were very friendly throughout our stay organised a taxi for 4am, for us, literally only a five minute drive to the airport then. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, which was welcomed after 10 days of camping.  We ended up walking to get dinner, the hotel is in a nice quiet area.

Great hotel close to the airport

Stayed here the night before departing Iceland. Comfortable room, close to the airport, with car parking and that’s all we wanted and were happy.  No elevators you have to lug your bags if you’re staying on the 2nd floor, but it's just one flight of stairs so that’s okay. 
Decent breakfast, and as a bonus, coffee, tea, and cereal are available to guests 24/7.
Gas stations and eating places are close by. There was also a nice shipping yard nearby which we visited briefly in the evening.

Pleasant stay close to the airport

The most helpful staff I have ever experienced.  My midnight flight has been cancelled and airline informed us there is no room available within 3 hours drive from Keflavik so we shall help on our own. I called to Hotel Grasteinn and they also said they are fully booked however, they tried to find something and asked for 30 mins to double check it. When I called again half an hour later they were able to find a room for me. 
Next day, during breakfast when I asked for check-out time they just said they flexible and not so strict on it. I had to stay a day longer and there were again very, very  helpful with a drop to downtown restaurant of Reykjanesbaer and later with arranging taxi's which was not easy piece of cake on Sunday afternoon.

Most helpful staff ever met

An overnight stay at Hótel Grásteinn in a room for 4 people. We arrived late at the airport and the hotel is 5 min. by car from there. Parking outside the hotel. There were night porter and we were quickly checked in. Room ok for a single night. Very simple breakfast.

Ok for a night

This hotel has a very convenient location close to the airport (only a few minutes drive). The rooms are spacious, good beds, nice shower… and all very clean! In a quiet neighborhood with parking in front of the building. Would definitely recommend this hotel, certainly when catching an early flight.

Convenient location close to the airport & very clean rooms

We stayed in a clean and neat room at this family-run hotel near the airport. All essentials were provided. The breakfast was reasonable and the staff was friendly and attentive. We'd recommend this place.

Very good

This hotel is a lovely family run hotel. We stayed here for one night and the family who owned the hotel were so hospitable, they done breakfast in the morning. There was hot drinks whenever you wanted, would definitely recommend this hotel.
