Very nice hotel with spacious room and bath.  Breakfast was good and generous.  Attractive furnishings and friendly, helpful owner. Just wish we had  a water view room, but enjoyed the view at breakfast.

Attractive and comfortable

Loved this place. Patreksfjordur is just a quaint and beautiful little town to spend some time in. Our room had a fantastic view of the fjord and breakfast was one of the best we had in Iceland. Room was quiet too, we both had a great night of sleep. There's a couple restaurants within walking distance. The red sand beach and cliffs are both relatively close and I'd recommend doing both if you've made it this far!

We arrived very late in the night and the owner gave us a room also if the hotel was closed, and she was super kind also if in the middle of the night. The hotel is very clean, Nice furnitures, good breakfast and a Nice sea view. 

Very Nice hotel with super kind owner

I got a room with a sea view for more than 200 euros and this is simply a joke ! The view is nice but the room is ridiculous. Very small room with no place to move, no air except a very small window on the top. The bathroom has 2 square meters and you can’t move. If you are 6”2 you bump into the ceiling in the room and in the bathroom. There is no cold water and the tap makes an awful noise ! Renting this type of place is a shame for Iceland and this is destroying the image of the country. I left the room after a few hours and went into my car. Shame on the owner of this crazy place. I am surprised there is only one comment for the last 3 years . Stay away from this one and go to next door, not a great hotel too but a little bit better because it belongs to an Icelandic group ! . 

Awful

Not a great hotel just about average. 
The town does have a nicer foss hotel but it's closed in the winter so we had no choice. 
Rooms small and poorly equipped, it's a long time since i have stayed in a hotel with no TV.
Walls are really thin so you can hear other bedrooms. 
Breakfast was good though.
In conclusion I would say give it a miss


Below par

The view out of our hotel window was spectacular. The room (upstairs) was fairly small, with a sloping ceiling, so not a lot of room above the bed. The staff were friendly and we had a comfortable stay.

Amazing picture window from our tiny room

I found this hotel on the web, looked nice so I decided to give it a try. Very nice hotel down by the ocean with a great view over the fjord. I somehow slept very well that night. Breakfast was included in the price.

Comfortable and relaxing

The room was clean, cosy and it had a nice view. 
The staff was very polite and nice.
The breakfast was basic but very good, mostly healthy options available which was great.
Only stayed for a single night, I would definitely recommend this hotel for shorter stays.

Basic and nice

This hotel is very basic for sure, no extras, very very small room but we were happy with how clean it was and comfy beds. Sadly no view, we were facing the street but the hotel was full so nothing to do about it. What really made me love the place tho were the people that run it, super nice, all of them, very friendly and helpful. I felt very welcome and at home. The breakfast was limited but enough for us. I would recommend this place, just dont bring much luggage with you, it wont fit in the room.

Tiny room but very clean

One of the cleanest hotels I ever had the pleasure staying on. Cozy and nice. Good breakfast. And waking  up to the view of the fjord and the mountain in the background was breathtaking. A vrely nice staff that make you feel welcome. I hayley recomend a visit.
