Room 101 was hardly up to my expections. the room was 4 square meters           ( found out later) but it is a room of about 2 meters wide and 3,5 meter long but the wall was diagonal so it was a strange, small room With no table no wardrobe . So no room for my suitecase or my close.  So 7 days of living out of my suitcase and no place to leave my suitcase open. Alone some walking space by the bed.
I thought there was no cleaningserves because but to my surprice the 6th day i got new bedlinnen and towels. (that was something good but not on the last night :-)
So i would recommend  not to rent room 101  its not worth it (in my opinion)
Also the pictures of the room are looking good but don't let you see the real layout of the room.
But Reykjavik and Iceland made it a wunderfull experience afterall.
 


room 101 isnt wat it supose to be like.

This accommodation is located in the heart of downtown Reykjavik. I had booked a room with a separate bathroom to be quarantined according to the quarantine regulations. The room itself was clean and the bed was comfortable. There is also a good selection of television programs to end of an eventful day. Next door is a bonus supermarket where you can buy all sorts of small stuff, possibly something you can prepare with the available kettle. Cutlery and crockery is also available in the communal kitchen. Only the bathroom I found not completely convincing, because the drain in the shower would have to be cleaned, because this does not allow the water to seep properly and so after a short shower time a small flooding was to be noticed.
WLAN was very good.
The price-performance ratio is definitely perfect here, for a short stay with a clean place to sleep, especially if you have booked tours with pickup, because you will be taken directly in front of the hotel.

Cozy stay in the City Center of Reykjavik

Bed was very comfy. Very clean. Great location next door to a supermarket and about 10-15 minute walk to Main Street of restaurants and bars/shops. Free parking outside (across road and side road). Kitchen facilities were handy. Payment was made before arriving via the card booked with. Email and message sent with details how to access and code. Perfect for a couple of night stay. We had double room with private bathroom.

Me and my boyfriend have just got back from 3 nights at the Rek Inn. Really comfy double bed with fresh bedding each day, bathroom is modern and gorgeous. Shared kitchen but we hardly seen anyone while there so didn’t matter. Supermarkets on the doorstep. Really good free WiFi. 20/ 25 minute walk to the centre which doesn’t seem 5 minutes. So clean couldn’t have asked for more, would definitely return to Reykjavík and definitely stay here again.

The best hotel we could’ve asked for.

We stayed two night here. Booked thru booking.com. Reasonable price, very clean room, with shared kitchen. No personal contact, but that’s ok. Gave us directions to rental, what to do when we got there—absolutely no issues.
Only 10-15 minute walk to center city with tons of shopping and restaurants. Would stay here again.


Good place to stay 

Lovely little place to stay. Was a very nice and clean room! The place isn't manned but it's a nice thing. Everything was done over email via booking.com. Room was tidied every day plus there's a little kitchen for you to make food! Only a short walk to the centre. I would definitely recommend and go here again. Thank you for a lovely stay!!

Awesome place! 

Modern and comfortable appartment. In a walking distance from the center. Helpful owner. Easy free parking outside the building. Really value for money (about 50 euros for a double room). We stayed 4 nights

Very pleasant place

Stayed here for a night, around $42 all in.
Looks like a converted apt, with 3 rooms rented out. 

They email you the front door key code, your room is open when you arrive, and the room key is placed on the small table. Simple, and noone is there from the inn. All arrangements done via text and email.

This room are VERY quiet. You will get a very good nights sleep.

Next to a supermarket which closes at 6pm. There is a Ruby tuesdays almost next door.

There is a shared kitchen with a kettle, microwave, coffee/tea, and fridge. No TV. 

Shared bathroom/shower - and be suitably 'dressed' when you go as you have to cross through the kitchen and small lounge area to get there.

Nearest bus pickup/dropoff is stop #10 which is 10minutes walk away. The ocean is about 10 min walk, and the downtown, 20 minutes; harbour is 30 minutes. 

Wifi is free and fast.

GREAT VALUE: 20minutes walk from centre; VERY quiet; minimalistic, shared kitchen and bathroom
