We stayed in this appartment opposite the penis museum! The place once entry is gained is lovely and smack bang in the thick of all the action. The appartment is very modern with a bed room and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was the most uncomfortable bed i have ever slept in to be honest but the main/only bedrooms bed was fine. We did not use the oven as the oven was filthy which makes you wonder what the £40 cleaning fee actually pays for. The space has a big t.v but no english channels so was not much use but it does have great wifi so laptops and kindles were the order of the day. Compared to other places in Iceland i think Dreamhill Apartment others good value, just dont use the oven or tv !!

Nice Place

This modern apartment is found on Reykjavík’s main shopping street, Laugavegu. It was a one bedroom apartment with balcony (Laugavegur 103) with sofa bed in the living room.  We found the apartment not as clean as we expected and there were a strong Indian curry smell when we walked in our apartment. We booked through bookings.com and received instructions on how to get the keys to the apartment through email 2-3 days before arrival.  The kitchen is not as fully equipped as expected.  The beds are comfortable. Wifi is ok.  There is only a washer but no dryer. We did like the view from the balcony and the location of the apartment.

Modern Apartment at Central Reykjavík

The beds were very comfy, located at the center of the town and the price is much more affordable than other accommodations in the area. Please provide more direction/ signage to go to the place and how to get the keys.

Great place and good value for money!

Great modern apartment in central Reykjavik with everything you could need.  The bed was really comfortable, and I loved the balcony overlooking Laugavegur, and with views of Perlan and Esja!  Need a blind in the shower room, and the sofa arm was on the verge of breaking  (it didnt), but the location was great.   Got picked up / dropped off for excursions right outside the door, and there's a convenience store opposite.  Also just a short walk downtown for restaurants and bars, or for sightseeing in Reykjavik town.  Would use again!

Modern and Comfortable

We drove from the airport to Dreamhill apartments and even with sat nav is hard to find, we found the road no problem but there is no signage for the apartments at all.  Once you have turned up the main street it is 1st left.  It has its own car park which you can use free of charge.  We were put in an apartment at the back of the building and the view was horendous, it is of old, rough apartments, very run down with grafitti, we definately didnt use the balcony.  However, inside is a different story.  You get 2 keys and 2 security chips.  You can only access the lift with the security chip and all interior doors will not open unless you have the chip so only people who are there are entitled to be there. It is a bit confusing finding your apartment as they are not numbered, some have wrote on the bell with a sharpie the apartment number but only a few had these, ours did not so we just had to try and work it out logically which was ours.  We were pleasantly surprised as it is a very modern apartment.  The beds are so comfy but the pillows are useless so we brought a couple of cushions from the lounge to put under our pillows.There was still tea and coffee in the cupboard presumably left by previous tenants, we also left all ours when we left.  Would definately use them again.
