We spend several weeks in this great hotel, especially by Indian standards. Spacious rooms with king-size beds with nice (soft) mattresses. The photos on the site give a good impression. Nice bathroom too. It takes a a couple of minutes for the (rain)shower water to become warm, especially in the morning. Good air conditioning and fan. Refrigerator available in the room available. Very friendly and helpful staff. They do every thing to make your stay enjoyable.

This hotel is the perfect 2-star hotel. It has a quick check-in, large clean rooms, clean sheets, helpful staff, a toilet with modern fittings, and functional air-conditioning. It is not on the beach but in the middle of a crowded locality. So expect no views. However, the beach is just a two-minute walk. Has parking. Does not have a restaurant. Plenty of restaurants within 200 meters. Affordable. Good night's sleep. Manager, Khadim Mandal was helpful. The only drawback is the narrow street that leads to the hotel.

We had an extremely wonderful stay at this hotel! Our intended plan of just staying for 2-3 days became 11 days as we could not find any other reasons to move to any other hotels or guesthouses in the vicinity. This hotel was beyond perfect for us. Refurbished two years ago, the huge property is located next to souvenir shops, restaurants, convenience stores, vehicle rentals and best of all, an approximately 50m walking distance from the beach right into the heart of the action. We had merely walked in and asked for any available rooms as we were having a horrific experience staying at another nearby property. We were shown a few options and opted for a double room with tv and fridge. Our room is huge and spacious beyond any standard means; more than 40m3 and have all the amenities we required. You can get netflix, prime video and any other channels connected from your accounts to the tv. The whole unit including the bathroom are very clean with modern shower fittings and good water pressure. A big shout out to Khadim, who accommodate to our every needs with prompt, efficient service and always with a smile! We enjoyed our stay tremendously thanks to him!  If you are looking for affordable accommodation in Arambol, look no further. This is definitely the place to be.

This place was 2mins walking distance to Arambol beach and in a middle of main market and lots of cafes. Despite such a location, the hotel was quiet and had very spacious rooms. Very neat rooms and staff was available at late nights also for any help. The hotel gas good vibes and apt priced given its location. It seems to be newly built hotel. Highly recommend!

Famafa beach resort is budget hotel for stay. Staff are working helpful and friendly too. Room is average but room services are also very good. Food qualities are good and food taste also good. We had good experience here.

Budget hotel 

We booked into the Ramada for 10 nights and paid for this at Christmas. Upon arrival at 1am we were greeted by one of the staff throwing chairs and tables around the room to be told that we had no room as it had been double booked. The story then changed as we asked to speak with the manager and we were told that there were two Famafas and that we were at the wrong one!! We were then left in the dark in the reception as they turned all the lights out on us and we were unable to use their landline for assistance as this didn’t work! Through the internet we sourced another hotel and the staff refused to order us a taxi and were speaking in Indian laughing at us. I have NEVER been so humiliated. With the staff fighting we were nervous and thank god we had no children with us! This place should be struck off any recommendations. We have since been refunded and compensated.
