At first this place will annoy at the time of check-in with some surprising rules that the management have set...we seriously request the management to rethink on the new rule proposal as in the end customers get aggitated without getting into details of wonderful offers that the management offer... the rules may hamper the business rather than doing a little good...

Beautiful property with fritendly staff

I believe *  resort is as good as its staff * and there is nothing great about behiviour of staff ,
 The day we entered resort , it some how felt staff is under tremindious work pressure and guests are not welcomed at all , ( may b a 2 star catagory like hotel atmosphere ) . Some of staff behaved rudly ( like reception and cafe area  )  and behiviour of  some of them make us feel that they are doing some kind of favour if they are requested   for  any  services .
Breakfast vairity was not so great and u have to chase like anything with staff if u require  kind of service , though food quality was very good .

Rooms are very good and there is a lot u can enjoy at resort but again * resort is as good as its staff * 

Currently i m staying at resort and hope service will improve in coming days of our stay .

Nothing 5 star towards hospitality at rio 

i have done an residential conference  from 6th May to 8th May. Took around 60 odd rooms. I want to thank all the staff members for the support given to us.

Front office : Rameshwar and shoumik helped me get rooms
Banquets: Fantastic Job Done by TIGER. He is really of Banquets. Very Hard working guy. God bless him.

Sir Patrik was very helpful for all the small things that i needed.

Want to thank Savio from event team for getting DJ come karaoke guy for entertaining my guest very much. 

Overall experience was good.

Small suggestion: Please tell staff members to smile and greet the guest. That looks very professional and good.

Friendly Staff

I have been stayed in Resort Rio recently. It's good property, nicely maintained with good greenery. Rooms are nice, food is just ok. Services are slow needs improvement. Basic amenities like in room kettle, tea and coffee preparing ingredients were completely missing

Had an amazing experience staying here, there overall service was excellent. I stayed in room no: 420 (suite room), which was very spacious and well maintained. The view was very good. The ambiance of the property is very good. 
They need to improve on their spread and quality of the food. The house keeping staff needs to be trained better.

Stayed in Resort Rio from 28th to 31st March 2018

Poor rooms, a/c not working, Mgmt staff not co-operating, instead saying all is fine. It's only when the Head of the Hotel came in, they accepted. Arrogance and stupidity.
They are no curtains or glass enclosure for shower in the washroom. So the entire bathroom gets wet and needs mopping. 
Hopefully the Mgmt spends time and effort getting the property and train their personnel. Rooms don't even have basic toiletries- brush,paste, comb, etc.
We were given check in at 3.30pm and we're getting room sorted for next two hours. 
And they call themselves Five Star??

Rio- Gayo.. racing to ZERO from five!!!

 I recommend this hotel to everyone, who is looking for a good stay, good food and great hospitality Professional and courteous team of cleaners they did such a good job and I can't thank them enough for all their hard work.

Best hotel 

Resort Rio is one of the best restaurants in Goa. The resort has rooms, vilas and family suites. Ambience is good Facilities include good dining halls, spa, kids play area, swimming pool. Breakfast spread is lavish. However, maintenance requires improvement.

buildings look impressive and that where the good points stop
poor management, customer is always in the wrong if there is a problem
