We, three of us were there for a lunch after a sight seeing trip of Pooyamkutty and   Kuttampuzha. My friend  went to the toilet and after reliving himself came with his fully wet pants and I asked him what happened . He said after he finished his business he turned on the water tap of toilet to wash. The whole system was broken and went mad and sprayed all water on him. I immediately called the counter boy to  complain ignoring my friends recommendation that this is norm here. But I insisted that we are paying for all this and the Government give them License to provide all these facilities to Charge the Guests as a BAR HOTEL. The Manager and the attender were laughing at me to distress me further. Where is our Tourism heading for? Imagine if you are with your family.
Recommendation:-
There is no other Decent Hotel nearby. Still never go to this place.

Excellent place and really nice review the scenery is beautiful and the food is really good, the service was exemplary and I am hoping to visit the area again just to stay in this hotel. I would recommend everyone to this hotel.

Hotel is located just beside the branch of Periyar river, Must say food was really good. Restaurant staff's services was very good. Only issue we faced was at the time of check-out, our check-out was morning 5:30 AM and there was no staff available at reception and finally we have to keep the key card on the table and leave.  VKJ international to bhoothathankettu is approx 14.5 Km. Inchathotty Suspension Bridge
is 17 Kms approx

Good Food and Affordable Traffic, No 24by7 Reception staff available.

We had a memorable stay in VKJ. The rooms are good, beautiful River view, delicious food and very economical. Boating was arranged at reasonable rates by hotel. Mr. udayan Pillai, GM is a very positive person and looked after us well. Strongly recommended. Easy access to places like Thattekad, pooyankutty, urulanthanni, etc

Memorable trip to Thattekad and Kuttampuzha

It's very calm and quite place I have ever seen before...more over the hotel situated in  bank of periyar...also we get very tasty food at very lower price..it's amazing..they also provide boating and adventure trips for their guest..

Hotel vkj international

Stayed in VKJ International Hotel at Kuttampuzha from 18th May to 20th May 2018. It is about 19 KMs from Kothamangalam. We were in a group of 21 persons including children.

The Hotel is situated on the banks of Edamalayar river. a tributary of Periyar. It is a picturesque place. Though the place is a bit remote, it is easily accessible from Kothamangalam city which is considered as a gate way to beautiful places in the high ranges of Kerala. One has a clear view of the river and the thick forest on the other bank from the balcony of the rooms in the hotel. It is really beautiful. But, the beauty is diminished by the view of the river side near the hotel with over grown wild bushes and dirty mud. Hope the management will care to clear them and enhance the wonderful view.

The rooms are spacious and well laid out; but, the maintenance is not to appreciable standard. However, the management was very quick to rectify certain faults we pointed out to our complete satisfaction. Free wi-fi is available in the rooms.

The restaurant supply food made to order. It was very tasty and the ambiance in the restaurant was pleasant. 

Our stay in the hotel was satisfactory and will not hesitate to choose it if I visit the place again. It is probably the only reasonably good and affordable accommodation available near Thattekad Bird Sanctuary about 7 Kms away.

A picnic to Kuttampuzha

The vkj international is a hidden trap to the entire tourist. They didn't give any fescilities as they offered.We had only 8 rooms but they charged 15 rooms rent. Also i can say that the behavior of the manager or G. M to the ladies is so disgusting. If someone booked this hotel then they will lost their life

We group of 200. People had stayed in vkj for two days . during our stay we didn't feel in any discomfort only pros to say like.WiFi is excellent  food is so tasty . their general manager  is also  a super cool person  . he arranged us whatever we asked . anyway our business meet went well.  I can I assure its worth visiting  the view from the room is also good

 A hidden gem in Kuttampuzha

We booked this property through make my trip . one of my friend only suggested this place . the check in and checkout was smooth. They view from the room the was breathtaking of a river  which flows just next to the hotel .the food which they serve their absolutely delicious . they have all amenities that one of us requires during a stay.. This hotel is situated in a excellent location  which recently became famous for film shooting .etc . and the one thing  which I liked the most I also got a chance to taste toddy .just near by the hotel there is toddy shop . I had this desire from my childhood onwards so finally full filled it.  The famous bird sanctuary is just  8 km from this hotel. They also arrange trekking  bird  watching etc overall it was a great stay  I will come again for sure
