I stayed here in December 2019 with my family and the property is about 700m away from the lake and main market. Getting a transportation from hotel to market is difficult, and not the other way round. The staff is very helpful and friendly, especially the restaurant manager who was wearing a smile always. The service was slow in the restaurant. Food taste was very good and the spread was decent. The swimming pool was clean and well maintained.  The road from the reception to restaurant was little steep but was not tough even for elderly people. The screening of movies in the evening and bonfire was really good. Overall, a very decent and enjoyable place to stay.

Small but nice property

We had prebooked the room with prepayment. The hotel gave us a damped room with dirty bed linens and leakage from geyser. The room was extremely unclean and unhygienic and unfit for one to stay. I do not recommend this place. Extreme dirty and unhygienic. They ruined our weekend trip.We checked out after the first day even when we booked for 2 nights. Strongly not recommend this hotel.

Terrible experience that ruined our weekend trip.

We visited Yercaud and checked in at TGI Star Holiday hotel. The pictures of the hotel room didn’t match with the actual room. The room given to us had tremendous smell of dampening moisture, dirty bed linens and leakage in the washroom with wet floor. The receptionist told us as we checked in late hence the hotel was full. We had booked the hotel room for 2 nights on MakeMyTrip. The receptionist did not give us a good room. Terrible experience.Visited Yercaud for the first time and such a bad experience. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. Also the approach road to the hotel is not constructed and is an earthen road with water filled ditches. Overall very bad experience.

Yercaud visit

Located very close to the lake/waterfall and location is amazing. The property and rooms are apt and value for money. While food was a disaster.. cold food, one of the worst buffets ever had. The staff is courteous and friendly.

Good location, decent property but  food was a spoiler

Room:
We opted for Superior cottage as we did not get Suite. Room was very neat and the interior was thoughtfully designed to accommodate luggage. I would recommend opting for 1st floor rooms as they have a good view from the private veranda

Ambiance and location:
Located in a serene hill slope. Has a decent view. Hotel is very near to Yercaud lake which is like the center of the small town. Kiliyur falls was just 3 Kms away. The play are and swimming pool was maintained clean. We all had a great time there.

Food:
We booked room with breakfast. The south Indian style buffet had decent no of varieties and taste was great. They had a live counter for Dosai which we loved.

Service:
Very courteous. They tended to all our needs promptly. We had a small mishap with my kid's medicine bottle and the staff in the kitchen, even though they were about to pack up, were more than happy to help us open the stuck lid at 10:00 PM into the night.

Great Stay and Courteous service

Quick check-in, helpful staff, well-maintained cottages, clean pool, an area for indoor games, an open-air theatre, kids play area, a small court for games like volleyball, throw ball, etc., a restaurant within the property. Additional the property also has a spa and also offers outdoor activities. Pocket-friendly stay at a picturesque location.

One of the best properties in Yercaud

We stayed for two nights but I forgot my room number, It's right place to stay. We had a awasome breakfast and enjoyed in pool(too much chlorin)
Only the problem with monkeys, we kept food out side (balcony) and it's missing 😁

Right place.

Just came back after a 2 night stay with my Husband. Smooth checking. I had booked a standard room but was shocked to find that our room has been upgraded. Thanks to the reception team Manager. Rooms were clean, spacious but needed more lightening. Room services were quite fast. The garden, swimming pool, the in-house adventure games were just superb. They even have bar and spa services. Coming to food, breakfast was decent. Over all a nice hospitality.

Nice hospitality

Nice place to be in. An activity filled vacation. You can easily spend even two days enjoying the hotel property. Easy to access reception. Great hospitality. They are taking extreme care for us. It's got good amount of activities. Especially the high line and zip line. 

Great vacation in yercaud

We stayed at TGI Star Holidays, in May 2019 for couple of days. My experience started with a short climb down through a garbage littered road to the resort. Saving grace was amicable staff on entry. Its a steep climb in the car to the room. Thankfully it was near the restaurant and that was helpful as we had our older parents with us. Surprisingly the rooms were very neat and tidy. The bathrooms were also clean and had ample bathroom supplies. TV had ample channels. Bed can be improved as it was a typical spring bed that's too cushiony due to which it wasn't that comfortable. The Swimming pool was OK, but small though. They had ample play area and kids enjoyed. Couple of things that need improvement are the variety in the cafeteria and the pricey amusement/adventure park. Cafeteria surprisingly didn't have much South Indian options. The attached amusement park is too pricey and there are no discounts for inmates. Nobody is using it due to exorbitant pricing. If these little issues were addressed would have given 5 stars.
