Late review. Stayed twice here, latest being in Aug 2017. Both of the times to catch an early morning flight as the airport is (considerably) nearer. The rooms are nice and comfortable and being further away from reception meant we got a peaceful stay. There is parking in the basement but it has limited space. The best part though is the location - it's right above an a2b which means we get excellent breakfast (or any meal for that matter) and it's very near to multiple supermarkets and stores (for this last minute baggage fillers).

OYO Rooms in vastav comfort is on CMR road between Jalvayu circle and kalyan nagar in Bengaluru, Booking can be done online. Confirmation and cancellation can be done by SMS/telephone call. Rooms are on the 2nd floor, Elevator is available, Parking is also available in the basement, Rooms are average. The bathroom fittings seem old. No curtain in the bathroom window and visible to outside. Bathroom has geyser. Room has airconditioner, TV and almirah. Telephone next to bed. Room service is available. Sometimes the room electricity went off, Room cleaning is done on daily basis. There is veg dining hall on the first floor. Veg restaurant(Adyar Anand Bhavan) on the ground floor. The hotel is accessible and rickshaws and transportation is easily available. Payment can be made by digita/credi card/debit card/cashl and online. Receipt for payment is sent by mail and online.

Average rooms

Before I checked in to the hotel I explained there maybe a need to extend my stay. On the morning of my checkout i went to the reception desk to checkout and settle the final bill as per my email confirmation and invoice. Instead I was overcharged and when I tried to explain by showing the two receptionists they would not understand or help to resolve the difference on their system. During the two weeks after I kept in touch with the hotel manager who explained the mistake they had made and he would reimburse the overcharge. In a recent communication the hotel manager explained that there was nothing he could do.
Really I would ask all customers of this hotel in Kalyan nagar to be beware of overcharges and a sloppy receptionist services.
