One of the most beautiful meeting in India!the family here it's amazing! We felt home!having conversations with Prakash it's so nice! He will help with all your needs! The place is simple, nice and clean! Close to the bus and train station! If you want an authentic hug from Rajasthan than come here! Love you!

A charming family that makes you feel at home, plenty of transportation, and improvements: that you don't have to ask them to turn on the wifi so you can use it and the force of the water that was bad.

Volveria is the name of the game.

We spent one night in this guesthouse. Our stay was very good, although the family could not offer us dinner, due to family problems. The house is clean, the family is hospitable. The conditions remain rudimentary, but we expected them: inefficient air conditioning, especially with power cuts, low water flow... We had the opportunity to cool down, sleep and have lunch in good conditions. We traveled with children, who felt well in these places, and that is the main thing!

i visited this guest house a week back for a day only with my family. The guest house is around 3-4kms far from the Bikaner station. We arrived early and was given a pick up from the station.Room are priced decently ie 350/- for 3ppl in a room The rooms are clean and tidy and equally cosy. No mirrors in the room except in the washroom and downstairs.Clean blankets were given.There are no windows in the room except for a small ventilator opening towards the common dining room. The family stays downstairs and is good except VERY VERY LOUD. They literally talk very loudly and UTTERLY SCREAM at each other. which disturbs the peace and ambience of the place. You cant get a peaceful nap in the day because of the screams and shouts.The elder daughter makes real good food. However what was ridiculous they have kept charges for pickles as well in the menu card.Funnily though. We did order 3 aloo parathas for breakfast which comes with yoghurt , however one cup of yoghurt arrive with the 3 paratha instead of 3 cups which is quite disappointing. For sightseeing they do have a tie up with rickshaw guy who shows yu around and will drop and pick up at the station.

Budget stay but DISAPPOINTING

We spent one night at Prakash house and were absolutely happy with all we got
We arrived by bus from Jaisalmer at night and he was there waiting for us with pick up
He showed us the rooms and provided towels, bed sheets, toilet paper, water and wifi password!
The AC in the room is quite noisy but we were so tired that didnt bother
Prakash wife (and her beautiful smile) will help you with nice breakfast and he will then give you directions to town and things to do.
They let us keep the room until 7pm, lovely!
They also dropped us at the train station

Wonderful Stay with lovely people

I have hesitate a few for the guest house because it's more easy for me a hotel than the family I don't know very good the traditions and the coutumes of an indian family but finally it was cool. The rooms are nice with good decoration and the family is very simpatic. The daughter more oldest  cook very well. Only a catch, this guest house is situate a few far of all and we need a rickshaw to make de^lacement butthe family tell for you the rickshaw and they can book for you, your futur travel. I returned to Prakash's house with great pleasure. A small, simple, but clean guesthouse, and most of all an exceptional welcome in an extraordinarily welcoming family! Prakash organises camel safaris in the Thar Desert - I highly recommend it, he's a real pro, and his safaris won't make you feel like you're in a tourist barnum. But the sunset in the desert after a day of camel, tasting chai and waiting for the campfire... there's magic.

I seem to have had a different experience from the other 4 reviewers.
Whilst the family were very pleasant and helpful, they were also very loud. There was a lot of shouting in the family's part of the house, that resonated up the marble stair well. I have been coming to India for 11 years, and found the food fairly ordinary. However they were very accommodating when I asked for chai without sugar, and less oil and salt in the food.
I liked the fact that the house is in a colony (residential area), though the disadvantage of this is that it's a bit complicated to eat out in the evenings due to the distance from town.
Worth trying once.

A different experience.

What an amazing stay! Prakash treated us like part of his family, from picking us up all the way from Amritsar, to accompanying us with his son on camel safari.  Food was superb and great to join the family at meal times. Room clean and comfortable. Our children played and made poppodoms with Prakash's children, but highlight was sari shopping with formidable oldest daughter Venu!
