An average guest house with basic amenities.The Room rates are high as considered to the services. Only USP is the location.
Room sizes are small, very less privacy, curtains are not proper, Bed sheets and Pillow covers are not clean.
With the same room rates there are other hotels those who are providing much more facilities than Muktodhara.

Standard Guest House (High Priced) near Khoai Haat

We a Senior citizen  couple had been here recently (Feb 1st  to 4th/2019). The property is very small ,hardly full.There are just 4 staffs ,a Manager cum Kitchen Help, A Bearer cum Cook, a boy for house cleaning and a female for Washing in the kitchen. Rooms are clean with minimum furniture,. The Geyser is unseen and the switch is out side the room (on veranda). No drinking water supplied ,which have to purchase @Rs. 30/-a1L Bottle. every food & drinks are on cost, no complementary Drinking water,Tea/Coffee,BF. Rates are ok, but quality and quantity not. Cooking is horrible.But the cook  (??)is obedient to listen. The Manager is a very good person.The SANI BARER HAAT is within  a Km (end Side). The starting side is 2 kms so a Toto is a must. Calm and quite place . Risky place to stay for Seniors & children if fall sick . The charges does not match the   room facilities. Mere exploitation in the name of the Weekly Haat. Next time we would certainly stay at a hotel in Bolpur and come to the Haat by Toto . We fully satisfied with the staffs ,though they are not professionals but good persons. The policy of the management is very much unfit for the Hospitality Industry. Wish they just 'Learn" and improve. All the best.

Last Choice !

A good guest house near to Saturday's haat at Sonajhuri. If you prefer to stay outside of city crowd this could be an ideal place. But after darkness you may feel isolated from outside world if you are a city person. The property is far way from the railway station. Toto (battery rickshaws) are available outside of the hotel to visit other places at Santiniketan till the dusk.
Price is OK compare to the arrangements but could be very high in season times like other hotels here. Room in which we stayed was neat and clean. It was winter and geyser we found running 24 hrs. without interruption. 
Staffs including manager are very helpful and courteous. There is a restaurant too but they arrange on demand basis, so order needs to be given much prior.
For those who travel by cars, parking place there is not so big. Inside the property maximum two small cars can be parked.

A good guest house near to Saturday's haat

The reosrt is a small house located in a good natural environment about 2 KM from Shanitniketon, Tagore's University. The rooms are small but worth the price. Food is available only with prior order but there are restaurants around. We had lunch in one of them called 'Shakuntala' serving very very traditional Bengali food in a Lotus leaf instead of plates. 

Cheap resort in nice environment

What a lovely place in Prantik. Shantiniketan Viswa Bharati just two kms. Check in was smooth. Lovely room. Chilled AC. With balcony view. Good family area play ground. Calm n quiet place. Over all lovely.
