Stayed here for 3 nights with 4 x family group.

Rude staff, dirty rooms, over priced, only 2 veg options in breakfast, no lifts. No house cleaning, No hot water, basin without drainage , Inexperienced  and arrogant manager have asked  to “SHUT UP” lady members.

BIG BIG AVOID

Santa Monica Resort is a great property for spending vacations with family and friends. It is very well managed and even the smallest of your requirements are well looked after by the courteous staff. Swimming pool is spic and span and maintained daily. The courtyard is beautiful and the whole ambience is very peaceful. Evenings are beautifully lit and soft music playing adds to the romance. Mr Mitesh Saraf who is the CEO, is a wonderful person and is always ready to help. I don't think the resort had anything to do with Trebo during our stay

Great place for your Vacations

Overall stay was awesome. Property is well maintained. And great asset Like Vivek in front office makes a difference .  Rooms are very well maintained, the  best thing is location of the hotel is superb

This was the worst experience as being the hotelier.
As I can see there is no hospitality at all in this hotel.
I can explain step to step.
At the time of check in the owner explaining us the policy which was not shared to us while confirming and taking advance in late night a day prior.
We were travelling with our kid of 3 year .They had given only four bottles of water , 2 litr of water for two day of stay. When we ask them to refill water facilities they rudely denied and any ways we buy it from out side. Though this thing being as a traveller you all had not seen it any where in any hotel.
During the morning after breakfast we had gone for site seeing and given the room keys for cleaning.
We were back by 3pm for 10 minutes for taking our essential but still the room was not cleaned and update this to front office.
We again  return back by 4:15 pm but even then the room was not cleaned too, it was like they don't have care for there guests. We were taking rest during that time an associate from house keeping came for cleaning but we denied as my child was sleeping,And I  don't want to disturb my privacy.
Though there were lot of red ants 🐜 in the room which shows that they had not checked or clean the room before it getting occupied.

The food in the breakfast is soo pathetic that I can't explain.
They had limited option but at least they need to maintain the quality of food and tea as a basic need.



Please check carefully before coming to this hotel.
Worst hospitality .

Terrible rating.
You guys charge for a blanket with a small stain. The blank was already very old and rough.
The receptionist answers calls but no one comes for room service even after calling for 4 to 5 times.
The tea coffee replenishments are not filled daily.
Dustbin put outised is not emptied even for 3 days.
The beds are very hard and the blankets are very rough couldn't sleep at all.
Very commercial-minded just the look from our side is good and inside the rooms are bad

Waste of money ,Worst experience

Not recommended at all, Reason -
1] Unprofessional staff, Ketan makes fake promises. I asked them before booking - Do you guys cook food for the baby whenever required and he said yes all time. After check-in, I asked them to cook something for my baby, and there reply - "Sir today is Shivratri we can not cook". Recluse service. Thank God Swiggy saved my baby, I ordered from there at last.
2] I complain in the morning that my phone is not working because the wire is loose and I have to come to reception all time if I need something, With continuous follow-up, they said in the evening - This can not be done now. Fethtic service that phone was repaired or replaced till the time I checked out.
3] On the last day I decided to speak to their manager/owner of the property about the issues he directly said - You made a booking through Treebo please speak to them we don't care. He is in his own zone. No professionalism how to deal with a customer. Not sure who gave them a license to open a hotel.
4] Rooms are so small, they take 1 hour to give you any order in the room and ask them to keep the used utensils outside the door after use. Even after 1 day, those utensils are still on the door no cleaning on time.
5] They give you wrong information on hiring a bike and taxi. The very expensive deal they provide. Recommended to go outside just a walk and you will find deals in half of the price what they offer.
6] Pool is also not so great, They pour it with chlorine at 4 PM which is the right time for anyone to use it. And because of that, no one can use it. I asked them why at this time they said sorry sir we do at the same time. I was like - dude you should do it in the night after 9 PM.
5] I checked out on the next day itself because of this My initial 2 days was completely wasted.

Guys don't waste your money at all. You will find more best properties.

Not recommended

The ambiance of this resort is superb for a family holiday .  catering/ food in restaurant ws Very tasty , breakfast menu ws always different & sumptuous. Staff ws cordial & always helpful. 
Swimming pool experience ws nice , maintained very well . 
Overall, this resort must b visited .

Marvellous , extremely satisfying stay at Santa Monika calungute, North Goa.during New year 2022.

Soothing music playing in the well maintained swimming pool area set the theme for ushering in the New Year 2022. Beautiful rooms were cosy, neat n clean. Restaurant facilities were nice with variety of meals. All the staff was extremely pleasant and ever ready to help. Despite Corona restrictions, the resort did put up their best efforts to make our stay comfortable. Strongly recommend to Goa visitors to stay in this resort under the new management for a pleasant stay.

Fabulous stay at Santa Monica Resort at Calangute Goa

Advantage - 1)This hotel is very close to Calangute Beach, just few mins walk. 2) They are flexible, we booked the room for 4 but they allowed our driver to stay with us without any additional charge. 3) The room was spacious enough for 5 of us.

Disadvantage - 1) They charged us 3500/night which i feel is not worth, 2) Breakfast is not great, they gave just 2 options. 3) After requesting multiple times for cleaning, finally our room was cleaned on the last day. 4) The furniture in the living room can be better.
