The hotel is good location wise. Before you book you need to make sure what room you get. There are different type of rooms. Some are good and some are really bad. 
Hotel has pool which is nice. And the nearby restaurants are also very good. Its peaceful to be...and budget friendly

A good hotel

We travelled with Kay P and I would like to add that while they went to search for rooms I stayed with the cases in reception and witnessed another traveller arrive with his booking details and was also told there was no room. This situation obviously happens regularly.
No assistance was offered to us even bathroom facilities for the traveller.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL

We stayed at this hotel last February (2018) and my review then was positive and we decided to return this year. I booked two rooms in May last year for three weeks in February/March this year. I checked our booking in January this year via email as I wanted to add one extra guest for one week. I received a one word response “confirmed”. However, on arrival at 3am we were advised that they had not record of our booking and no rooms available. Our friend who was joining us for one week decided to book through booking.com and we asked if her reservation was confirmed. NO. The man at reception said it was our problem and we should speak to their head office in Delhi. He was unwilling to do this for us even though he spoke the language and even smirked. This hotel has been taken over by a hotel chain called Treebo and this seems to be an issue with the group in general. We managed to find an alternative hotel at extra cost to ourselves but it was far superior in every way and I am adding my review on this hotel too. 

Do not book this hotel if you expect them to honour your booking. 

This hotel is situated at worse location at candolim,the outside view is damn bad.Pool is just a funny thing so small to think of enjoy anything.Rooms were good, spacious but strange thing was it was difficult to find TV and AC remote.Terrible it was as  there was no AC supply when there was power cut so it doesn't feel like in hotel.Worse was behaviour of staff,they were so unprofessional and arguing with customers,when we enquired about power cut they said what can we do ? We can't stop power cut.They were some kind of belief of that they r treating us as free customers.Breakfast was worst of worst as there was no buffet breakfast,only 1 or 2 dishes that too not tasty..the vegetables was cold served,only of patotoes.Be it Puri bhaaji,or paranthas, nothing was tasty or worth of.Staff is very unprofessional,behaved very badly,they always argued with customers,and I found one of small bag missing which I remembered after reaching home.Their treatment was like they r offering u free stay.Very bad experience,not a worth of staying.Location is somewhat feels like u suddenly visited a rural area,service of hotel is very poor I rate.U only imagine in your nightmare,That AC don't works without light,in hotel.

Unprofessional and arrogant staff

we stay here for 4 days Candolim is very nice place now it’s time for hotel.
One  of the main staff of hotel may be manager or other navdeep singh have no idea how to talk with the guest 
other staff and hotel is good but this man  ????
Service is very slow because all the call of reception are received by Navdeep singh and he only said abhi bhejta Hun but abhi kabhi nahin hota hai inka.
Overall experience is not good 
Food is nice boys from canteen is very well behaved to guest 
But navdeep singh terrible.

Go goa

Recently i stayed with my family at this hotel - Goa, had terrible experience  I have decided not to book hotels through Treebo henceforth. Booked for 4 days and they allowed me to stay for only 3days. Customer care is worst part,  paid 3k per day is actually worth of Rs. 1.5k max. No clean rooms, no hot water facility, complimentary breakfast has no option.. Tasteless food Treebo customer care ppl are most arrogant,  useless to talk to them. I have had many experience with TREEBO, but this was disaster... I would urge guests not to book. There are many other hotels provide better service than this  

Urge.. Don't even think of booking this hotel

We stayed here in February. Nothing was too much trouble for Baba and his staff. We did not like our room at the back of the hotel as it was dark, and there was clutter on the veranda but I asked for another room facing the pool with French doors and it was no trouble to be moved. It was not a deluxe room, but was still a good size. 
Unfortunately, the housekeeping leaves a little to be desired. You have to ask for beds and towels to be changed, and your room to be cleaned, but it is then done. The bathroom is not as clean as I would have liked so I had to clean round. 
We are planning to return next year to this small and friendly guest house.

Helpful and friendly

I stayed here for 6 night when I visited Goa!

Great hotel staff were very helpful and friendly!!

After finally finding the hotel we were greeted and then informed that we would be upgraded to a better room free of charge which was a lovely surprise!!

There is a restaurant but didn’t eat there 

The room was massive with a balcony and bathroom 

The only problem was that on our last night there was a large group of people outside our room drinking and making lots of noise until very early in the morning and the staff wouldn’t do anything about it 

Also the hotel is quite some way from the beach a good 15/20 min walk! 

Altogether was a great value for money stay would go back 

Great hotel 

We booked this holiday after reading the reviews, now we are experienced travellers to India so know roughly what to expect from the hotels. However on arriving at this hotel alarm bells started to ring when there was no one in reception to greet us, in fact we were totally unexpected. By the time I'd dragged to suitcases up to reception and shouted hello a few times a young man came to greet us, and yes they weren't expecting us.
We'd  booked a deluxe room and after travelling for nearly 12 hours we just wanted to lie down on a clean bed and have a much needed sleep,  I asked the young man to show us to our room, he said to wait a few minutes while he sorted it out, he went into "our" room with air fresher and bottled water and a gentleman who looked like he'd just been woken up came out. Alarm bells started to ring. We were shown into the room which was a fair size but not what we were expecting, the bed linen was dirty, there was a wet towel in the wardrobe, the fridge was filthy and a glass in the bathroom looked like it hadn't been washed for year's....
We sat there for a few minutes and in that few minutes we decided we were not going to spend our 25 day holiday there. 
We asked to speak to a manager but there wasn't one in the hotel, the man put my husband through to a lady on the phone but all he could here was children shouting.
We took the case's out of the hotel and asked them to book us a taxi.
Whilst waiting for a taxi a gentleman turned up claiming to be the manager he was extremely polite and arranged to get some chairs for us whilst we waited, he asked us what the problem was and we told him our concerns  he went to look himself at the room, when he came back he was apologetic and could see why we're unhappy. He then offered to take us to a hotel of our choice in his car which we did. 
I think this hotel could be nice if the staff were trained to accept guests and someone there 24 hour's on reception, the housekeeping us definitely an issue ( filthy curtains, bedding, are totally unacceptable the whole place needs a good clean) ....The pool area was quite nice, pool looked clean but the sunbeds and gardens were in need of tidying.If these issues were addressed then this budget hotel would be an acceptable place to stay.
My concern is if anyone was to go to this hotel  for a 1st holiday in India they wouldn't return.


Disappointed 

Ok now the Sky Light Royal Stay was just a 2 night stay until our villa was ready to be moved into Ok let me start by saying I have been coming to Goa for many years and and fully aware what I should expect in regards to quality of accommodation etc however let me begin. We booked on the website pics looked good and location was good as near our villa a bit pricey at 15000 rupees for 2 nights but hay ho on arrival granted it was 3am we got to reception and to guys were asleep on the floor on a mattress in the middle of reception after waking the guys up one of them issued us a key to room 101 which was right on the side of reception so all traffic going through was heard and visa Versa the tv didn’t work and more importantly neither did the AC and the open drain in the bathroom wasn’t great neither was the shower that took 20 minutes to heat up. In the morning when asked about issues we got the following 
AC not working....give it 5 minutes 
TV not working....give it 5 minutes
Ok the full breakfast.....again I didn’t expect a full english however it was massively limited and if I am honest I requested toast and it took him 4 attempts for that. On our second day the staff were messing around and i had a light bulb narrowly missing my head most of the staff there are kids and the only thing they really seemed to care about is the inflatable Christmas decorations in the pool area a area may I add had a dead squirrel by it there only saving grace was the receptionist knocked 2000 rupees off all in all swerve like the plague oh please find a pic of me as Santa the only thing that raised a smile at the Skylight !!
