Stayed here for 3 nights and the room was reasonable size (King size bed) with dated furniture and bathroom.
Foyer and check in staff were welcoming.

With a few minor improvements this hotel could really lift their standard i.e.dry cleaning bags in room, free water bottles, digital clock, and serving alcohol in the restaurant and food in the bar.
The bar on the top floor is very good but you can't order a meal here.

There were weddings each night and I never had any noise in my room.

Hotel is a 20 minute walk to the large shopping centre "The Forum".

Reasonable 3 *** accommodation

I made a reservation @cleartrip a month in advance and got a confirmation mail saying ‘your pillow awaits you’ on reaching the night of stay it was utter mismanagement. The staff made me wait for 45 min. There was only one guy manning the counter and was under stress leading to rude behaviour. On giving him the confirmation no. He told me there was no booking. On calling the abysmal @cleartrip helpline I was informed that the hotel had not confirmed stay. The cleartrip guy simply said sorry and said he will figure out something in the vicinity. At 1030pm at night! After sitting on the money for a month cleartrip had the courage to blame it on the hotel. Was lucky enough to have a Raddison Blu next door where I checked in.

Highly impressed by the ambience, peaceful atmosphere and friendly staff.Interior works and infrastructure impressed me a lot.As it is located at the mid of the city,I enjoyed lot of shopping,sight seeing & entertainment at just few minutes travel.
I can't imagine a gorgeous hotel at  Chennai like Vijay Park with this lowest tariff.

Highly impressed by the ambience

They do not have separate smoking and non-smoking rooms. Being a non-smoker, I choked for a whole night. There was no fan in the room and the windows are sealed. I checked out the very next morning even though I was booked for 3 nights. And the place looked like a gambling den with people smoking and drinking everywhere. Avoid!

Checked out as soon as I could

It is a centrally located hotel with an imposing tower like structure. Staff are courteous in check in and Goibibo booking is easily recognized. I saved Rs 440 in this booking. Room is spacious and all amenities are basic, with washroom smelling. Bed is comfortable. Central A/C, LCD TV, breakfast 7:30-9:30 am included, free but weak WiFi. Lobby is very impressive and there is a restaurant in house with room service. The hotel name shows up on Google or Ola as Koyambedu location and it is the same area as in hotel address, Arumbakkam. That made me calll the hotel.

Absolutely untidy disease prone hotel. Simply do not enter the hotel . Hopeless and pathetic food . Very poor staff . No sense of cleanliness . Water was dark brown in color when we open the shower . Please do not go to this hotel.

Very Bad, In Reception way of talking is not good.  Plz improve. Many more cockroaches in the rooms. Totally disturbed.  Night shift receptionist did not give the response to us. It's my 2nd stay here. Hereafter I can't. Thank you.

Good location; very good appearance; very good lounge and lift arrangements; This is a good property but appears to be badly kept due to lack of business; the staff at the reception desk need training in hospitality; they dont seem to enjoy their jod, nor do they make the guests feel welcome; Rooms are good, but poor maintenance; No oil, shaving kit, shampoo etc is supplied;  It is just OK for the money; looks like it is not a much desired hotel.

Good Hotel badly kept

First impression externally is a 3 floor modern building. Second impression and first Red light ;a surly unhelpful, humourless receptionist. The "helpful" bellboy several years senior to his female colleague saves the day and shows myself and my colleague to our rooms with a handful of room cards. Third Red light - why the handful of room keycards. Room one seems ok - colleague enters and disappears to rest dog tired after a long journey. Room around the corner, a windowless cupboard with black mildew stained wall paper peeling off the walls and the accompanying smell of bad feet. Room card trumps and I am offered a second room further down the corridor but also without any daylight. no peeling wallpaper and less foot odour pong seems okay for a couple of nights and I am tired also, I accept the room and card. Left alone, I lie on the bed and the lights start to flicker - where's the Disco I think myself, flickering gets worse. Turn the light off and put a bedside lamp on - damm the lamps have been purloined - actually ripped from the wall I discover! Then the generator starts in the next room cannot hear myself think I open the door and find the fire door open to vent the exhaust enough of that fumes as well as noise, I shut the door (fire) and lock I as it is supposed to be. Dial 0 for reception, no phone. Leave the room, the fire door is open again I go to close it to stem the fumes but am shouted at by an "engineer" who clearly hold a lot of authority with his monkey wrench. I capitulate and necessarily go back downstairs to the  unhappy young Indian "HausFrau" at reception. I swear, I had no bad gas but am treated as if I have just left a steamy brown one on her desk to chew on. Bellboy again to the rescue and shuffles some more cards. We return to the 2nd floor hoping to use an ace. I am shown 2 more rooms, but these ones have a thing called windows! First one feet and peeling mildew paper. Second the lesser of the 2 evils again. I move rooms, tip the bellboy for a second time and finally crash on the freshly made bed to find its clearly been a favourite honeymoon venue. I accept the stain on the bedcover as I have had enough, but the beds sprung interior reminds me of its distinguished service in action. Screw it I think to myself , this is India after all  what do you expect?
Eventually, we emerge a couple of hours later to meet in the reception, it's alive with mosquitos that very clearly have been deliberately posted to keep guests away from the best seating, or is it the religious idols? Never mind, not for long, its off to work we go with a car to take us far away.
I return in advance of my colleague. I find that I have walked into a convention of dhoti boys gathering throughout the hotel, maybe its like they do where we are from I think, "like a Trekky convention". Nope I am again wrong, these young lads are staying 4 or more to a room. I hasten to my own open the door and hide behind it. I wonder about the stain on the bedding & those crazy bed springs again. I have the evening to myself and after a decent 10 minute lull in the noise from the  voices in the corridor I relax and decide to leave for a walk and find some dinner. Eat in that place - am I completely nuts?
I return 3 or so hours later fed n water and the next door 3/4/5 star hotel ( who knows!) and suitably replete quickly fall asleep.
Up early the following day we meet as prearranged for the "complimentary" breakfast. I ask for coffee - well we are in the heart of coffee country and am treated as if I have a speech impediment - tea only or extra cost - okay I will pay. Coffee arrives with milk added - no I say I asked for it plain and "BLACK", the waiter scoots off and finally there's my Jo. I ask him to remove the milky mistake, he is reluctant unless I agree to either consume it, resell it on somewhere, or pay for it. Jo spotted to be a good way to kick in the day, not hereabouts. Then there is the international buffet breakfast. Curry or Eggs, I favour neither (allergic to eggs) so I opt for toast. It is "not available" in the buffet being something highly obscure and clearly a gourmet commodity that requires specialist skills again its extra and by now I am wondering if its extra because of a cost or the effort! I then get asked if I want it with Jam, butter & marmalade will do, "no marmalade available", honey I ask? No honey "available". We settle and soak up the ambiance in the dining hall until its finally quiet - the last of the other occupied 2 tables leaves. Am noting that no sign at all of the Dhoti boys, perhaps they are fed via room service?
Time to explore the premises, maybe go see if the pool is busy or check out the gym? general absence of signage, I climb the stairs to see if there are any notices in the stairwell first floor seems to be Dhoti central, second floor thats us "executives" third floor is maybe the club lounge, bar, gym etc - its not its a derelict wasteland, top floor "rooftop" door is closed locked. Multiple WTF's realing in my head I decide its better not to pry any further. But I do make a note to write up here at first opportunity.

Only a fool or total idiot would spend good money to stay here, pay some more or go sleep with the poor.

The rooms are pretty good and also have an working desk with chair which helps you if you are on a business trip The hotel card stops working after sometime and you need to recharge it at the reception.Keep that in mind or you will get stuck.
