Excellent place to Stay at affordable price.good service by support staff.compared to other hotels at the spot,Malika residence is pretty good.easy to reach station and busstops because of nearby destination

Business visit

We stayed in Mallika Residency, Chenai. We enjoyed our stay. The staff are very polite and helpful. The tariff is reasonable and affordable.  We like the Hotel because of its location also and will stay in same Hotel when coming to Chennai next year.

Very rude reception staff. Thankfully I did not stay there. I was at the brim of paying the advance. However, the experience from the reception staff in that short amount of time, changed my mind. After reading through the rest of the reviews, I think it was a good decision. Please stay away.

Did not stay ! Max I reached is till the reception !

It was a nice stay at Mallika Residency , the room was good and by the way good service from the management. The breakfast they provided was good in quality. They provide free Wi-Fi for internet facilities.

Good A/C rooms at affordble price

They have taken licence for xerox and they are yet to return me still today .Everytime they have their own excuse .Kindly donot stay here and poor choice of OYO.Kindly donot stay there please.YU can select a better hotels.

I recently stayed In this hotel, Extremely bad hotel,The rooms are okeish,but the behavior of the hotel receptionists is pathetic.
I was sitting in the hotel reception cause they have no signal in rooms and I had to  send some very important emails. Suddenly the receptionist came and started to asked me to go to my room.
I requested that I have to finish the important works,then they started to threaten me and stated to shout and asked me to leave or else they will beat me and they started pushing me snatched my phone from my hand damaged my phone and asked me to leave the hotel then and there.

As it was midnight and my father is a elderly person I cannot take the risk to get out also they started threatening me that they will smash my phone on the floor.
I was scared ,I told them sorry it was my fault that i was sitting there please give back my phone and please let us stay for the night.
Somehow after so many request they given me my phone back.
On the very next day I checked out and booked another hotel although ,I already booked this hotel for 4 day with all payments done.But i had to leave as they threatened me to leave also they told me they are the goons of Chennai and no one can take any action against them.

So this was my story,If anyone reading this and if you are planning to come with family   please at any cost avoid this hotel when you visit Chennai. You cannot take that risk with family.
Even if you are single try to avoid this hotel.

I will always remember the night it was 18/07/2019.The time was 23:30 and it continued till midnight 1:30 am 19/07/2019.

There was 2 receptionist at that time,both of them threatened me one of them push me and beat me and snatched my mobile and damaged it.

Pathetic in one word

Firstly I would like to mentioned that the photo mentioned on Agoda does not reflect the actual. 

The contact number given is answered by a rude person, said “ do not call this number as it’s his personal mobile number” if that’s the case why that number is given on the contact details.

The rooms given were very poor in condition, there were rats coming and going in to the room. I do have phots but there is no option to upload.

This stay has spoilt the whole trip experience, I would request Agoda to Refund money for the booking and remove this hotel from its site to maintain its standards.

Worst place to Stay

Good accommodation in cheap rate.... good response from reception.... and good room service.... In center of the city to get a room in cheap rate its impossible but here in mallika residency we get a pleasant stay with cheap rate... With a/c rooms and they are neat and clean.... Lovely stay... 😍

This Hotel don't have restaurant, No Housekeeping Staff, and rudly behave with customers. 
Room price are non ac room 450/-
Ac room price are 950
when i check to hotel they told me xx but they even did not provide me any kind of water bottel and other sercive like house keeping i said 4-5 time then one person came and told me that i will done withing half hours.

Don't go with this Hotel

After a very long plane journey with two stop-overs, we arrived excited and very prepared. Guess what. They had double booked our room! And told us there were no more rooms, After at least half an hour of debate they refunded us less than half the money. We now have to go there to appeal to the manager to give the rest of our money. Do not stay here, seriously. Do not stay here.
