Edward was a very hospitable and helpful host; I liked the location of the house near the beach (200m). The room was very clean and comfortable with a mosquito net, a fan and hot water in the bathroom. I enjoyed a breakfast every morning included in the price; I was able to rent a bike on site; each room has a terrace overlooking a very nice garden and quiet with hammocks; mineral water is available for guests.

It's a comfortable place.

This place is like home from home. We've stayed here twice now as we know how lovely it is. The owner, Edward, is so kind and helpful and the rooms are comfortable and clean and the garden is beautiful too. The location is perfect - a short walk from the beach and just off the main road. Very good value for money too.

Home from home - fantastic! 

Wow! We only wanted to stay 2 nights and then we extended it to 3 nights. super good weather so we could plan our next trip. very hospitable and helpful. always happy. 5 minutes to the beach. 10 minutes to the next shop where you can buy fruit and vegetables. and if you need something to eat, the landlord is always ready to help and get you something. super delicious breakfast.

It's all over again.

Little paradise

It was a wonderful stay at Angel's homestay which is close to beach and beautifully maintained with all the amenities. The house is surrounded with beautiful flowers and has the best staff to host you for your entire duration. Each room has its own open space outside with swings and furniture to enjoy evening time. Edward is the best person to ask for about anything and he is very helpful.

A perfect beach homestay

Lovely homestay. Each room has a nice terrace with a swinging seat and patio furniture, great for chilling in the evening. The property has a garden to, so you feel secluded and have a nice view. Very clean, good food and the host is very helpful and his English is perfect. It's a 5 min walk to the beach. Couldn't have asked for more! As a solo female traveller this was a good option :)

Beachy homestay

Edward is the perfect host and right from first contact he was helpful and professional.  On arrival at the homestay I was warmly welcomed and given a refreshing pineapple smoothie.  The room was comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean and wifi connection good. It was wonderful to relax in the swinging chair on the patio, enjoying the birds in the peaceful garden, or walk to the nearby beach and watch local fishermen.  The Keralan meals were delicious and varied.  Despite his busy schedule Edward took time to chat about local life and also showed me his paintings and sketches.  He did mention that he can accommodate visitors for long term stays if they wish.  
This s a homestay in the true sense and was definitely the best possible place to start my holiday in Kerala.  

Angels' Homestay is highly recommended

Host Edvard answers allways you send some email to ask something before coming. And help you in planning your trip, getting there or booking tickets. Anything you ask, he has an answer. Edvard was born to help. And situation of this place is perfect; not too close road, close enought the beach,  but not so close that night time life of the beach disturbe you. This homestay is clean, meals are nice and every guest has his own privacy

Best possible place to start your Indian vacation

The first time they got here was right after Delhi, then after a trip through Kerala to Park Periyar and Varkala decided to come to Marari Beach again and stayed again at Edward's Angels Home Stay. The host was very hospitable and always tries to help, cooking local Kerala food, tea and fruits. The rooms have everything necessary, clean, plumbing works well, in front of the shady terrace room with a table to work or eat at.

We came back for the second time. I really enjoyed it.

Very good stay for 4 nights, homestay near the beach, but away from the tourist areas, village atmosphere, very welcoming, Edward, the owner, very helpful, I recommend!
