Mountain Hut Resorts was a very good resort to stay and enjoy. The place and property was very nice, well maintained and good views too. The services was good, rooms also had balconies. Overall a good stay.

Great Resort..

Excellent location. They have a nice balcony with an amazing view. Enjoyed campfire and barbeque very much. The climate is so pleasent.They provide a small fun park for entertainment. Best place for group stay.

Awesome

We 4 friends stayed there on Jan 14th night. We loved the following. 
*Location of the resort on the mountain slope. 
*The opposite mountain view from the resort 
*The steep road journey to reach resort via Jeep. 
*The camp fire, Grill set up & Loud music DJ provided. The freedom we enjoyed was fantastic - no restrictions at all. 
*Loyal, caring & well mannered care takers Karanan & Pandiyan. 
*Special appreciation to Pandiyan (Jeep Driver + Caretaker) - since there is no network at Vatavada except for BSNL we had called the resort from Munnar itself mentioning our ETA at evening 7:30pm however we were delayed by 2 hrs . Knowing that it will be difficult for us to find the resort route without network - Pandiyan was waiting & looking out for our car at entrance of village in cold weather. Pandiyan is a big hearted guy whose is always willing to help whole heartedly. With the awesome experience I m Looking forward to visit again.


Awesome Experience !

Had visited the resort at Vattavada 40 Kms from Munnar town. The resort is just OK for spending a night. Had been there with friends. The staff was very cordial and helpful. Rooms are ok. For food not much options. Overall fine.

1. Excellent Setup and Well Maintained Rooms
2. View is superb
3. Staff are very friendly and courteous.
4. Gives a feeling of Trekking as u climb up the resort

Cons:
1. 40Kms away from the town of Munnar
2. Narrow Entrance
