We spent  2 weeks at Nagesh place and had a very goid time. This couple is very friendly and generous. We really felt at home. The room upstairs is spacious and gives you the possibility to stay on the terrace where we made our yoga every day. The area is very convenient because you can find everything you need:a tailor, a grocery shop  an ice-cream parlor, small restaurants at local and reasonable prices.It at walking distance to any spot.. 
This place is to be recommended.

A very cosy and friendly stay

Absolutely perfect. The owner, Nagesh, is wonderfully friendly, helpful, nice, and caring about our needs, all while greeting us with a smile every time we returns to the home stay. We liked it so much we actually stayed an extra night.  The rooms were clean, the location is great (on a quiet back alley buy just a 15 min walk to all the touristy stuff), and the property was nice. I highly recommend staying here, and will definitely stay here next time I'm in Kochi. Thanks Nagesh! 

Perfect! Look no further than here. 

I've spent almost a week at Naguesh's. He takes very good care of his guests. Always available to get you a tour, Ayurvedic massage or taxi. Very good and cozy breakfast. I highly recommend this place, very quiet, many small shops around and 15 minutes walk from the very tourist area of Kochi.

It's a very nice place.

The apartment consists of a guest room, very homey, two bedrooms (for 2 beds), a dining room. Breakfast is prepared for 100 rupees (omlet, dose or idli, fruits, tea). No hot water, but it is not needed here! There is the Internet and rental of bicycles or mopeds.

It's a great two-room house.

Very nice & comfortable home stay in Fort kochi.provides all calm and quiet atmosphere in every aspects.we had a great time here:).The owners of the home (both mr & mrs)  are very cooperative and helpful.

Maintainz all justice to a title of a home stay-" a home away from home"

This place is a hidden gem in Fort Kochi. I stayed here for 2 weeks. Though it may not be that strategically located as compared to other homestays, hostels or hotels in the Fort but its location also made this homestay great - away from the hustle and bustle of Fort Kochi. Should I mention the awesome hospitality of the owner, Mr. Nagesh and the awesome Keralan breakfasts prepared by his wife.

Pros: 
Location is quiet and has a view of the small garden.

Living Room: Nice living room and you feel like you are in an Indian family home.

Laundry: Nearby Dobhi Khana, a public laundry place, so you don't have to worry about your laundry.

Restaurants: Local restaurant and eateries on the main road and plaza. 

Transportation: Bus to Lulu Mall and Airport and rickshaw along the main road.

Ambience: Very quiet place. Nice Veranda. Nice place to read a book on a lazy afternoon.

Cons: 
Location: Away from the scene of Fort Kochi but walkable for 10-15 minutes or get a rickshaw for 30 rupees.

Curview: 10PM. But you can tell Mr. Nagesh that you will be late and he is fine with that.

The upper room is by far the best, clean and spacious, with a nice terrace to extend the laundry as well, the two bedrooms on the first floor for children (4 max) plus spartiates, wifi from hell, good advice from the owner, he arranges Katacali and backwater to take care of the reservation, count nonetheless 15 minutes on foot to get to the center of Fort Porchin, cheap breakfast on site

Nagesh and his wife welcomed us as friends....always ready to give us advice, serve us tea and banana cookies, help us make reservations for backwaters or for massages and accompany us to the bus station....The guest house is very well located, 10 minutes from the center and the beach, in a quiet little alley.We were staying in the large room on the top floor with access to a small terrace, we also had access to the living room on the lower floor.The room was very clean, breakfasts are very tasty (fresh fruit).

It's like home.

A charming place, some unbeatable owners and a magical environment. The room was clean and comfortable. We were greeted as if we were staying at home. We hired the man of the house, Nagesh, for a trip to the backwaters. Everything was very organized and we also prepared breakfast. Everything was very good.
