7 of us, comprising 4 generations, stayed in this resort just after Diwali. The villas are very nice and well laid out with two verandas. Clean.  Everything worked well. One fan regulator became defective and their electrician was called from Dapoli and repaired the same at 10 pm! Amazing service. The food was simple and excellent. Non veg is available but not included in the package. Mobile signal is a problem in that area but they have a good WiFi. The few special requests we made were complied with. Mr Ruikar a partner was always available together with the Manager Mr Pravin. Overall, a memorable place and experience

A superb place

If you are searching for a peaceful vacation completely away from your daily life then this is the best Choice. No network connection at this place gives you personal space accompanied by quality time and relaxes your mind. Also authentic Kokani food over here is amazing. Kolthare beach is just a few minutes away from this resort. Good place to stay with family!!

Fantastic Place with Awesome Food

Kolthare is a serene & peaceful destination tucked away from hustle and bustle of city life. It is around 22 km from Dapoli (via Ladghar, Burondi, Parshuram Bhoomi). Virgin Winds Resort is a beautiful property just 5 minutes from beach. They have around 10 to 12 villas of 1 bedroom & 2 bedroom. TV is available and bedrooms are AC.

From Pune, Do not travel via Tamhini Ghat. Road is in worst condition. Prefer Mahabaleshwar, Poladpur, Khed, Dapoli route.

I had gone there with my family and stayed for 1 night. We stayed in a 2 Bedroom villa which consisted of a living room, a small kitchen and 2 AC bedrooms. Villa was well maintained and clean and accommodates around 8 people. Mattresses and pillows are available. Inverter backup is also provided. 

Beautiful plants and trees are present in resort. Food is served in dining area. It is home cooked, nice and tasty. You can order Ukdiche Modak & variety of Fish also. Service is also good. Mr. Yogesh Ruikar personally looks after the guests. 

You can visit the temples in village & nearby Kolthare beach (Average beach). You can also travel to Dabhol jetty (10-12 km) and take an experience of ferry boat. 

Overall, it is a nice destination for a peaceful and relaxing trip.

Note: Mobile connectivity is not so good. I guest only Jio works here. But it can be a blessing in disguise and you can enjoy the vacation without gadgets.

Konkan as it should be

Extremely quiet place, close to nature.
Had booked 2 bedroom bungalow. Room amenities are decent, could be improved for the money charged.

Awesome food, friendly service. Owner is wonderful person. Provides all the help needed. Cook is fabulous. Veg/ non-veg food was excellent.

Has separate baug/ recreation area. Grey place to unwind.

Beach is 1 km away. Take your vehicle is you have senior citizens with you.

Beach is absolutely fantastic. Clean and swimmer friendly. Rocks at the end of the beach.

Quiet and peaceful

Hotel is very nice. Very clean and neat. Staff is very helpful. Kolthare beach is very near. Very good beach leads crowded. Non veg food was excellent. Bungalows are very well constructed close to nature.
