I booked my stay for 1 night at Hotel Ambassador on 13th Sep 2019 using the travel portal MMT. At the time of check in the front desk simply refused to allow the check in citing the low tariff offered by the portal. First he asked me to pay some extra amount so that i5 matches with their offered tariff & asked me to speak to the travel portal. With a great difficulty, I managed to connect with customer care of MMT but after waiting for almost half an hour, I booked another property. On asking how I am involved in it, the person replied that they have stopped taking the bookings from MMT/OYO due to pending payments issue with the portals. It surprises me how could a guest be held responsible for it? If any sort of disputes are going on with the property & travel portals , the same should have been informed to the guest in advance to avoid unnecessary inconvenience.

Loosing sheen ...Ambassador

I booked hotel ambassador for 28th Feb 2019 for a day stay through OYO as I was in Dehradun for my official work . To my utter surprise when I reached the hotel reception I was denied the check in. On asking the receptionist, she told me that they have informed OYO authorities that the hotel management won’t be accepting any booking below Rs. 1200/- per day 
How a customer is concerned about the feud going between the hotel management & OYO I spoked to OYO helpline & surprisingly they were not appraised about the issue I was asked to cancel the booking & look for other option. It was a total UNPROFESSIONALISM on hotels part & OYO management... it was not only me who suffered but I saw couple of more people who got turned away due to this issue

Hostile behavior 

The place is very close to Clock tower on Rajpur road so makes sense. Reception staff are very courteous and helpful. Would have liked more options for breakfast; although the food was tasty. Overall serves the purpose if you are on a business visit or tourism and you don't plan to spend too much time at the hotel.

Decent stay.. serves the purpose

This is again one of the best property in Dehardun, located on Rajpur Road, center of the city, well connected to tourist attraction, shopping market, restaurants. The hotel staff is very nice and friendly, rooms are very comfortable and clean.

good stay!

It was my first hand experience staying at Ambassador Rajpur road Dehradun for a night. It has impressed me on the following parameters:
# Location: bang on the Rajpur road near the famous Guanta ghar & other popular markets
# Rooms & amenties: nicely maintained & spacious rooms
# Food: Hygenic & delicious food; though a bit hide on pocket but for quality one has to shell out extra, customised as per need
# Room service: Prompt & good
I got my room upgraded to Deluxe by paying a small amount, good decision 
Go for deluxe rooms ( though small wash area in bathroom)

Ambassador...an exponent of comfort

This is very nice property, if some one want to stay in the dehradun so think is perfect and amazing to stay there. We are surprised to see the property and hotel staff and all over ambience. Ambience is very nice. We booked this property by oyo but we cant find to how we have to ho by bus stand to there so i was call in the hotel contact no. So Mr. Bobby front office manager was picked up our call he was guide us air you have to came from bus stand to clock tower and take left from there and its a opposite for the punjabi restaurant. So finally we find the property. Nd there is one more staff her name is Babli she is also a front executive in there. She is also very helpful like all staff is very helpful and frankly with the all customers. I like these type of persons. 

Food is very nice amazing quality dont have need go to the out side for eat the food. there is a amazing food quality.
