I chose this place after considering at-least 4 other properties in Digha and New Digha for my social function. The banquet hall is excellent to organise family functions for 200-300 people. Separate dining areas provided, where you can easily host your guests to a private and quiet dining experience. Excellent service provided along with all Covid related precautions taken, which is rare to find in Digha. Rooms are also very neat and clean, perfect for guests to relax and have a good time. Also it is near the main road, so no connectivity issues at all. Food is one of the best served in Digha, specially try their Mutton Rogan Josh.

I stayed 3 nights, rooms are too good and spacious. All staffs are very polite, courteous and helpful, I think since they were running short of manpower so upkeeping and maintenance was not upto the mark. Food is also  delicious, only thing is there is not much spread in buffet breakfast. Rooms could be a little more accessorised to achieve best of the potential the property has, toilet mirrors should be changed and some air purifier is must in toilets. Restaurant is very tight in size during high occupancy. We enjoyed a lot in small garden and with 2 Macaw birds it has. Will always cherish all the moments spent here.

Awesome hotel and service

It was a great pleasure to visit the property.

Every staff starting from the receptionist till the house keeping including the security guards were so well behaved and they were at their toes to help and serve better.

Hygiene standards are really good.

Food was delicious and healthy. You ca have lots of options to choose from.

Very near to the sea beach..just 5 mins walk.

Will visit the property again.

Overall Good Hotel. Breakfast included in the package. Good quality food and good service . I enjoy my staying at this hotel. I went with my family and I recommended to everyone to stay in this hotel while their visit in Digha.

Overall Good Hotel

I stayed with this hotel for 3 nights alongwith my family. I stayed in a Club category Room which was not really liked by us. The size of the room was small. Quality of furnitures were not upto the mark. Rather essential furnitures like luggage racks, Center table etc. were missing. However foods were good and tasty though continental dishes were not available. Breakfast spreads were ok ok type but somehow we did not feel them to be upto the standard both qualitywise & choicewise. 
We met the General Manager of this property who is a thorough gentleman and he gave us a patience hearing and tried to sort out the issues with limited infrastructure availble to him. We appreciate his gesture & positive attitude. The only silver lining is that the Cygnett is coming up with a new property at New  Digha close to the Sea Beach and we are hopeful that the we shall be able to enjoy their proffessional hospitality in near future.

Family trip to Digha from 28th Dec to 31st Dec 2019

Pathetic is an understatement. Not sure where to start but let me sum up:
Cons:
1. Hotel is next to an open sewer - with the stench coming right upto the parking lot.
2. Parking lot is cramped for a proper sedan.
3. In our room - toilet seat wasn't sanitized.
4. Room was cramped.
5. Bathroom was little better than train bathroom with absence of proper western toilet.
6. Room service was very slow - with waits upto 45 minutes even for simple dal-rice.
7. Food is overpriced - rip-off to be precise.
8. Whimsical rule of not allowing external food - haven't seen such crap even in Sheraton(s).
9. The serving pot wasn't washed in last 2 weeks (pics attached).
10. Overall lack of cleanliness and service.
11. Front desk inefficient pretending to be efficient - won't give any details upfront but will share if required.
12. Hafta wasooli type collection (attempt) of fees in name of Digha-Shankarpur development.

Pros:
1. The AC worked.
2. There was water in bathroom.
3. We still got some bread and eggs despite missing the breakfast (blame goes to the hotel though as they printed till 10 in the menu).

STAY AWAY - you have been warned. There are way better places to have a drink and a swim - staying in this next-to-sewer sub-par hotel is not an option.

Pathetic - stay away

Hotel with a Bar At Digha is not that common so his hotel has some added advantage. Considering the location it is not far away from the beach but closest to the main road. Hence it is good for the big group who is traveling in a heavy vehicle like bus/Tempo Traveller.
Cygnett Lite offers buffet breakfast that comes as complementary and overall food quality is good. No complain about the service but some improvement on housekeeping is desirable.
Overall, it is a safe and clean hotel.

Cygnett Lite Digha is an average hotel with a Bar

Stayed with my family overnight. We were given a complimentary upgrade. Thanks to Anjali at reception. Room had a beautiful Balcony. Room ammenities were worth it. Staffs were courteous and prompt. Breakfast buffet was good with good variety. Enjoyed a lot and would like to visit again.

Excellent Stay

Worst experience, they provide in room tea and coffee counter, but they provided only green tea no other choice for tea. The hand shower holder was broken, they was no rack or hanging system in washroom only one rope was fixed. There was in-room service but, there was no facilities in the room to avail the service (like  chair and table to have the food).

Sharing experiences for two nights stay

I've stayed Cygnette Response Guwati earlier and based of that experience I've booked this hotel for Digha travel , but sorry to say it's really disappointed me. Room and food price is overrated compare to quality . Room service is good , but people are more profession regarding price. Rooms are also not very clean , bathroom amenities are missing and surpringly bathroom doorlocker also broken.
So honestly and sorry I cant recommend this hotel for Digha
