The location of the hotel is all what is nice.

food was ok, management was bad, rooms are small, if you ask for an extra bed in room they vl just give you a mattress on floor, bathrooms are bad needs to be repair.. 

They vl just add money in your bill for each and everything. Place is nice in built but very poor management. One should avoid this place to stay specially with a kid. 

At the time of checkout all they offer you is nothing but a heavy loaded bill which they do not discuss earlier.

Very odd hospitality with unexpected amount hike at checkout.

I used to stay here regularly during my visit to Keoladeo but over years the situation is getting bad to worst. Only thing they are after is your money and they are extremely rude if you try to bargain or dispute a charge on bill.

Served horrible nd stale food & on top of it Staff demanded money for liquor as tip for the "service".
They will charge you for everything, even for a piece of jaggery with GST on top of it...haha.

Room look nice & big but smell bad, bed sheets are not clean and blankets are dirty, never washed or cleaned ever, yuck!!!

Checkout is quick with your invoices promptly prepared & calculated to suck out every possible penny from your wallet, no card or digital wallet accepted, payment only in cash. Staff will gather around your car at gate for a parting tip.

It's a classic case study for hospitality industry for how not to run a small hotel business. There are many other decent options available in Bharatpur, avoid this place.

Terrible stay, unprofessional staff & cheat owner

Very poor . The only good thing is that it's well decorated. You have to carry your own quilts as they provide poor blankets which can't help you from winter. No heater or blower available.
Food is terrible. You have to order 2 hours in advance and then you will not get your order but what is available with chef. I had to go outside to take dinner as they took order of parantha but later on told that only tandoori roti is available.
Phone in room doesn't work. If you are on 1st floor then keep ready to go up and down by stairs.
Staff is rude. Hot water is hardly available in tap.
Over all highly terrible stay. Will not recommend this property .
RO water is given in previously used bisleri bottles like you get in a lodge.

Very Poor 

We visited as a group of ten families .It  was   an awesome experience. The ambience,spacious rooms ,the lovely courtyard gave a very ethnic feeling.The sanctuary is at a walking distance from the hotel.Mr Pawan and team   were very friendly n helpful,taking care of all our needs.

Great Hotel

Cheat of the Highest Order..

We had booked one room online through Agoda for Rs. 2000. We wanted to extend our stay by another day so we called up and asked them if we should book it online again or whether they would give us at the same rate .. Pawan Kumar , The Manager , told us over the phone that he would.. We agreed to the same as we thought that if we are getting at the same rate , how does it matter . Little did we know that Pawan Kumar would not turn out to be a man of his words.. later on during check out, he minced his words and told us that he is only charging us what Agoda pays him which turned out to be Rs. 2500. It is not a matter of RS. 500 but how he tried and duped us.. He very well knew our predicament and was not at all apologetic

Overall the hotel is a decent property with good/big rooms and they have a decent sitting area downstairs outside.

Apart from the staff and service, we did not face any problem.. Another problem we faced was during dinner one of the nights when we were getting refused what we wanted to order for dinner even though we order before 10 pm even though their last order time is 10 : 30 pm.. Again the staff was quite rude including the one taking the order.. Being in hospitality and catering to a lot of foreign tourists, I hope some basic training is provided to Mr. Pawan Kumar and his minions.. 

Food is okay and not much to rave about..



Skip in case you want this avoid rude staff

Hello people, I went on a weekend getaway to Bharatpur with my family on 9 Nov'19 (yesterday) and just returned back home. Couldn't wait to write this review. The hotel is beautiful with a decent palatial type look, a nice terrace and decent staff. We chose to stay here as it was pet friendly and close to the sanctuary. The stay was okay but a couple of things really upset me. Firstly, they charged us ₹ 1,000/- for the pet (this was no where mentioned nor told to us while booking).Why would they do that? Secondly, they charged us for every mineral water bottle that they had kept in our rooms without prior information. I mean at least 1-2  bottles are complimentary, and if chargeable, they should inform during check in.    

Decent hotel with very poor management

GOOD points: We six ladies visited bharatpur on 28/01/19. We checked in at night 9.30 pm. The rooms were good and sufficient warm blankets were provided.It was very cold outside, nearly 7" c. The location of hotel is near to highway. But we had a calm and quiet sleep as there was almost no noise of highway traffic. Dinner was ok. good point was that it was served hot. We felt that it was safe place to stay. The bathrooms were clean.The service of blankets and bedsheets was prompt. There were almost no mosquitoes or flies.

BAD points: Diner was spicy and oily. very less options were available for food in this hotel. The food is not tasty.Next day morning breakfast was not good. Poha was tasteless. the service was not prompt. Whatever we ordered came after a long time and that too very cold. There was no soap in bathroom. The towels were not so clean.
The major point to mention was that the maager wanted the payment in cash which we did not have. We told him that we can pay by credit card or debit card or online transfer. but he was not ready. He was not ready to give access to his computer for online transfer. He told that there was extra charge of 2% for credit card payment, which we disagreed. We told that there is no such charge by bank for credit card payment in mumbai and even we use credit card at grosary shop without any hassle. Final we told him that we can not carry so much cash and we will pay online when we reach next destination. Then he agreed to accept payment by debit card. second we ordered few paratha as a pack lunch. All paneer and aloo parathas were horribly tasted and we ate as much needed and rest paratha we gave away. These paratha were exorbitantly costly and we neither got value for money nor enjoyed the taste.
overall experience : if u get another calm hotel with tastee food, prefer. otherwise this is ok for a day stay.

The only USP of this hotel is that it is near to the sanctuary gate

If you are looking for a reasonably good and comfortable stay, this place has lot to offer. Architecture is more of a ethnic style. Excellent Vegetarian Food. Courteous Staff. Owner Pawan is a great person to talk to and always helpful and cheerful. 

In case you are visiting Keolodeo National Park, hotel delivers breakfast and lunch in the Park itself, provided you request them.

Comfortable Stay, Personalised Service.

One of the best property in Bharatpur which is very much in budget. The best part about it is its location. Very close to the Bird sanctuary. But the stuff that I most admired is the way the property is maintained. Cheers for Mr. Pawan and the team for keeping it well maintained. All the wooden furniture are very artistic and shows the sense of fineness of the owner. The rooms are highly spacious. We have booked 4 rooms in 1st floor. All the rooms were clean and decorated. We have requested for early check-in and it was very well taken care of. The foods are also very tasty specially the lunch. Nice rooftop with sitting arrangements. The staff are very cordial and very helpful throughout the stay. The only thing which can be improved is the breakfast menu but again in this low budget cant expect more. Highly recommend the hotel for stay. Will love to come back again.

Great Hospitality and very decorative property

We had emailed Kiran Villa Palace a month prior to our trip asking if our family ( 4 members ) could share a room. They emailed back and based on their response we decided to stay here instead of the much nicer Laxmi Villa palace. My husband called to double check that 4 of us staying together was fine. Once we arrived the manager was extremely rude denying that they had agreed even though I had the email as proof. They gave us 2 thin mattresses and sheets with holes in them - no towels or blankets. The wifi was patchy and when I took a shower early in the morning I got only cold water. When we checked out he charged us double the room rate!!!
