Stayed here for 2 nights. Location perfect and great views. Room was ok, no aircon as advertised. The staff were ok. Very helpful in allowing me to use the rooftop terrace before my train in the evening. All in all a good stay. Just be aware they don’t take cards.

A couple of nights in Jaisalmer

Our stay at the surya hotel inside Jaisalmer Fort was delightful. The cozy and comfortable atmosphere made us feel right at home. The staff was exceptionally good and friendly, always ready to assist with a warm smile. The unique experience of staying within the historic fort added to the charm of our visit. Overall, it was a memorable and enjoyable stay, and we would highly recommend it to others seeking a cozy retreat with excellent service.

great stay and good view of the city

Beautiful location inside the fort with the best view of Jaiselmehr. Rooms are very neat with balcony with great view. Very kind staff. Would recommend staying here when visiting Jaiselmehr. 
Great food in the restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner.

Beautiful stay inside fort

The location and the hospitality was excellent. I felt completely relaxed when eating alone and was able to sit and watch the sun set in a perfect setting.
My room was beautiful and we were able to have a room between finishing our desert trip and our late evening train journey.

Perfect in every way! The hotel is magical. The rooms are air-conditioned and make us live in the Aladdin's account with a breathtaking rooftop. Very good price ratio. And very good restaurant! I recommend ten miles per cent!!

The view from rooms as well as cafe is amazing. You can see the city below as well as lake. Staff was polite and friendly. Food was also good. Sunrise is especially amazing with both the restaurant and room window facing eastwards towards the rising sun.

Very good restaurant

This hotel was our pitstop in Jaisalmer while on a bike tour with friends. The location inside the fort is an experience in itself. The rooftop restaurant is actually on the fort's ramparts and offer a majestic view of the city. The food is decent and service average.

Rooms are nothing to write about , just basic and barely adequate bathroom. The views though from the room are beautiful and gives you a feel of staying inside an actual fort!!Being inside the fort there is no access to vehicles (cars) till the hotel. Bikes can still manage to traverse the narrow alleyways.

If you are looking for a rustic experience in a budget friendly bracket this place fits the bill! 

Budget friendly rustic stay in Jaisalmer fort!!

I stayed at Surya Jaisalmer for 2 nights and 3 days.  This place is located inside the Jaisalmer Fort with a perfect view of the city.  During night the city view is simply breathtaking. You can sit and enjoy the full day and/ or night simply admiring the city (not ordering anything) or ordering something delicious or having drinks. The best part is that no one in the restaurant (which is at the roof top) wouldn't ask you to leave because you didn't order anything. Another best part was that one of their hotel members would come and pick you up from the Fort Gate and Drop you back too during your exit (perfect example of customer delight). I was picked and dropped by Adbul who was so helpful in ensuring that I get into the bus of my next destination as i wasn't feeling too well that evening. 

They also organize a Noor Desert Camp which includes Jeep Safari, Camel Ride, Bike Ride, Dinner and next day breakfast at a very nominal cost. They helped me in planning my 2 days stay with 1 night at Desert Camp and next night at hotel at a very affordable price with the best of experience to take home.

The staffs - Bhanu, Sakru, Abdul, Prashant, Mustak were very helpful and friendly.  

Would recommend and also look forward to visiting again.

Friendly staff - lovely memories

This hotel is situated at front Burx of Sonar fort of Jaisalmer and is an heritage style hotel of Jaisalmer, where you may feel staying in Royal property at the height. Rooms have got Zarokhas like old palaces, from where, you can enjoy the picturesq view of the golden desert city from the comfort of own room in all the suitable hours of the day or night. 
Property has roof top restaurant  with much more viewing points with availablity of very good meals with lovely and warm hosptality of the staff, like Shakoor. Hotel is neat and clean and available on moderate tarrif.
Shakoor was also instrumental to get us very good desert cam stay booking at Wild heritage Desert Camp in Sam/ Kanoi.
Strongly recommend to experience wonderful stay for every viditor of Jaisalmer.
