One off the most dirty place that we saw in India, foam mattress completly destroy,you can writte something on the nightstand because of the dust.Bathroom never clinned and stenchy. It's the off season so i think the staff is on Holliday.

Dirty place and gost hôtel

Stayed for two nights and place have basic facilities.No restaurant facilities.A good place to stay, if you are not looking for high end facilities. I recommend it for middle level traveller, if you are simply sleeping in the night.

A good place to stay if you are on a budget. Is in central place and all points of attraction are east to reach.

The hotel is very conveniently located. From the cozy garden you can enjoy a wonderful view of the river and the fort on the opposite shore. Bright clean rooms with spacious bathrooms and large beds. Very attractive prices.

Quiet, very cozy and clean, cheap hotel with stunning views of the fort.

Important note: this hotel has no Wi-Fi box, if you need it you have to ask and wait for 5/10min (sometime more) for someone to share connection from mobile...

I took cheapest room so I had only cold shower, I could ear noise from bathroom of other room, and couldn't lock my door from the inside... 


Bad value for money

We enjoyed my stay at hotel fort view in orchha. The owner were very friendly, helpful and answered most of my queries with a smile. The rooms were clean. Bed, duvet, pillows, are in good condition awsome balcony view of the jahangir palace.



Nice one"

Though I am Italian, I am going to write this review in English because I want everyone to understand it. First of all, I did not personally choose this place but the Indian agency I am travelling with did. The hotel - if we can define it a hotel - is the worst hotel I have ever been. No sheets, no hot water, no WiFi (even if it is clearly written both in the description and outside the building). As you can see from pictures, walls are dump, the bath tub impossible to use, towels dirty, there is only a dim light and everyone can look in your room because curtains are transparent. No comment needed about inexistent breakfast. Please follow my advice: if you realise you are being taken to this place, simply say "no thanks": it would better to sleep under the stars.

Run away from this place ASAP

We stayed in this guest house for 16 days and enjoyed every day! Very centrally located, very nice and helpful owner. Beautiful view of the fort! You can easily reach all the sights!

Excellent guest house

This hotel is horrible. it is true that in Orchha there is little hotel offer and above are expensive, but I would not book again in this hotel, that the only good thing that has is the views of the fort. the room was dirty, the bed with marble head was uncomfortable and the bathroom was scary. all the furniture is super old. the wifi does not work. I would look for another option.

Horrible and expensive.

We were there in August, and I really don't recommend it. Now that I've finished my month-and-a-half trip to India, I can say that this is the worst address we've ever stayed at. At the reception, the staff was uncomfortable, the rooms were priceless because of the quality. Ours was gloomy, huge animals came out of the shower that splashed strange water and red in the beginning. In one of the rooms, the shower didn't even work. In short, we only spent one night there. The only advantage may be that there's wifi and a nice view of the most expensive room.

I'm going to avoid it.

I have stayed in this guest house three times including twice with my partner and I had recommended it to a friend who had just given me a negative report on his return, he preferred to go to another hotel.Room prices have almost doubled since my last stay in November 2013. The prices requested do not match the standing( dubious cleanliness, hot water intermittently, the rooms on the ground floor are uncomfortable) Of course the first floor room, with a nice terrace, it has a private balcony with a great view of the fort but its current price is too much especially if you book by booking.
